  1. A common sense ban. Ban prescriptions for hydroxychloroquine for those wanting to take it for preventative measures but do not ban it for patients with Covid 19 and want to take it.
  2. "Any time now CNN, ABC, CBS, will be all over this." Actually they might. The MSM will turn on democrats at times when it is what the democrat establishment wants them to do. In this case with Biden appearing to be more senile daily they are having buyers remorse. There are lots of calls now for New York governor Cuomo to run for president. They don't want Sanders but a lot of democrats are looking at Cuomo. I don't think they would mind at all seeing Biden replaced by Cuomo. https://www.newsday.com/opinion/commentary/coronavirus-andrew-cuomo-2020-president-1.43453549 https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8139843/PresidentCuomo-trends-Twitter-New-York-governor-praised-response-COVID-19-pandemic.html https://www.foxnews.com/politics/cuomos-coronavirus-tv-briefings-may-have-biden-sanders-worried

  4. I would agree with the statement below "The president was certainly wrong to create any expectation, at this early juncture, about hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin. But contrary to what the woman suggested to reporters, Trump did not endorse all forms of chloroquine as safe. What she consumed wasn't even medicine—it was chloroquine phosphate, a form of the chemical used in fish tank cleaner. As Reason's Elizabeth Nolan Brown wrote this morning, "It hardly seems Trump's fault that this couple took his statements to mean that drinking any old thing with chloroquine in it could help them." https://reason.com/2020/03/24/chloroquine-phosphate-coronavirus-trump-arizona-death/
  5. Maybe those 70"s WIN buttons will be making a comeback?
  6. I for one am concerned about the national debt. Maybe we had to do this stimulus but shame on any politician adding wish list goodies. The entire stimulus should have been soley for coronavirus related issues. We are heavily in debt already. Maybe this is money we need to spend but it is still money from an already maxxed out credit card. As everyone knows running up debt on the credit card never ends well.
  7. After Nevada's governor banned doctors from prescribing hydroxychloroquine for covid 19 it didn't seem a stretch another governor would do the same but glad to see that is not the case with NY. In Nevada's case I don't believe it was a political decision at all by the governor I just think he is wrong and misguided.
  8. We are spoiled though. If we were hungry enough boiled asparagus would taste like filet mignon.
  9. I saw where some states including Ohio are limiting prescriptions for Hydroxychloroquine to patients who actually have covid 19 and not for people using it as a preventative. This makes sense to me. If we have limited amounts then save it for those who actually need it. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-health-coronavirus-usa-pharmacies/states-work-to-limit-prescriptions-of-potential-coronavirus-drugs-idUSKBN2190XC
  10. This really upsets me. Hydroxychloroquine is a cheap easily mfg drug. Israel has just promised to give us 10 million doses. If there is hoarding going on by doctors of this drug there are other ways to combat that without banning the drug altogether for patients who need it.
  11. The fault is with the Chinese. When they knew they had a major problem with a flu spread instead of contacting the WHO and bringing in medical experts they arrested those who tried to warn about the flu. When the world finally found out about what was going on in Wuhan China they had a full blown crisis on their hands. Now we have a world wide flu pandemic.
  12. I actually thought it might be Rock Hudson but I was fresh out of boot camp and I wasn't going to take any chances of not saluting an Admiral. When he scowled at me I figured he took offense that I didn't recognize the "great" Hollywood actor. Apparently they had just filmed Rock Hudson's scene as I looked back and watched him go into a trailer. When I went around the corner they were filming a scene with his co star at the time Susan St. James. Best I can tell looking at story line and time period I would bet they were filming this episode....OK looks like Rock wasn't an Admiral just an officer...but I was pretty fresh out of bootcamp...he still looked like someone a Seaman apprentice should be saluting. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0645140/
  13. A Beverly Hills social media influencer is reportedly hospitalized after contracting COVID-19 — mere days after licking a public toilet bowl. https://www.theblaze.com/news/social-media-influencer-goes-viral-after-licking-a-toilet-now-hes-reportedly-in-the-hospital-with-covid-19 Coincidence...maybe? still a stupid thing to do
  14. More Than 700 People Died Overnight In Spain From Coronavirus https://dailycaller.com/2020/03/25/spain-coronavirus-700-deaths/
  15. "The governor's own orders preventing prescriptions for more than 30 days for it's other uses..that is one way to do it instead of banning doctors altogether from prescribing it. We know this medication has already saved at least one patient in the United States." https://www.nationalreview.com/corner/nevada-governor-bars-use-of-malaria-drug-for-coronavirus/
  16. Dr. Oz for one was saying on television that hydroxychloroquine was possibly a game changer. If the couple had heard Dr. Oz saying this on television instead of Trump and took the fish tank cleaner would Dr. Oz be responsible? I'm sorry the man lost his life but he made a huge mistake on his own. I know even without clinical trials or going through all the hoops to get this drug approved for coronavirus if I had a severe coronavirus symptoms and no other options out there I would take the hydroxychloroquine and zpac without hesitation. https://video.foxnews.com/v/6144015101001#sp=show-clips
  17. The only valid reason I can see for this governor doing this is if there is hoarding going on and possibly malaria patients who need the drug may not have it. There are other ways to prevent that without the governor totally banning doctors from writing prescriptions for the drug. In normal times we would like to have more testing of hydroxychloroquine but these are emergency times especially for those with severe symptoms of coronavirus. https://www.nationalreview.com/corner/nevada-governor-bars-use-of-malaria-drug-for-coronavirus/
  18. I'm sorry this person lost his life but it is a stretch to blame it on Trump. There are doctors and medical experts as well who believe the drug could be a game changer and said it on television and I wouldn't fault these doctors for the man taking the fish tank cleaner either.
  19. Teva to send US millions of malaria pills with potential to help COVID-19 Israeli generic drug giant Teva announced Friday that it will provide ten million doses of its anti-malarial drug hydroxychloroquine, which could potentially prove effective in fighting the coronavirus pandemic, to US hospitals free of charge. The company said six million doses will be delivered to US hospitals by March 31, and more than ten million in a month. https://www.timesofisrael.com/teva-to-send-us-millions-of-malaria-pills-with-potential-to-help-covid-19/
  20. Nancy Pelosi tried to load up the bill with her democratic wish list but she failed...
  21. I knew that if there was any hoarding it would not be by the masses but had to be by doctors (dentists surprised me). If the doctors are hoarding this drug for themselves and their families that should tell you something about what they believe about the drug's effectiveness. That said they should not be hoarding either when it could cost the lives of others. For now they need to figure out what is necessary for malaria and lupus patients and then anything extra goes for coronavirus patients with severe symptoms. And maybe that is the answer to doctors and dentists who are hoarding. These prescriptions are to go to sick coronavirus patients only. I would like to see any punishment go to doctors abusing prescriptions and not see critically ill coronavirus patients suffer with an outright ban from a governor.
  22. First of all we don't even know if that would be the case. The idea of hoarding this drug? By whom? Only doctors could prescribe it. Dr. Fauci himself said he would take hydroxyclhoroquine if he had severe symptoms of coronavirus. If we want to go with your argument then set aside the amount of the drug needed for those with lupus and malaria to save their lives and use any left over for those with severe coronavirus symptoms but the governor should not be making an outright ban for doctors to prescribe this drug when it may be the coronavirus's patients only hope of survival.
  23. You recently thought you had the coronavirus and you didn't. Lets say you lived in Nevada and you did have severe life threatening symptoms of coronavirus. I don't know about you but I would want to make the decision myself about taking hydroxychloroquine over the governor making the decision for me.
  24. The patient or the patients family should make the call not the governor that is why. We are supposed to be in a crisis and we are a year away from a vaccine and the best and most promising drug should be available upon a patient's request.
  25. Unbelievable. I posted this and took it down because I thought maybe I hadn't read it right. I did read it right. He has banned doctors from prescribing hydroxychloroquine for treatment of coronvirus because it wasn't "meant" for that but malaria..... Nevada Governor Signs Emergency Order Banning Prescriptions of Hydroxychloroquine For Treatment of Coronavirus… https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2020/03/24/nevada-governor-signs-emergency-order-banning-prescriptions-of-hydroxychloroquine-for-treatment-of-coronavirus/
