I would like to see the Browns retain ST Coordinator Mike Priefer, but they will most likely make a clean sweep.

    Mike

Agreed. Mike Priefer coached the standout unit on the Browns.

Keep those projections coming -- you remain the only one making threats regarding speech.

You're entirely wrong regarding my politics - but hey, facts haven't stopped you so far!

You, personally, support Russia much more than I do -- if Trump is a Russian, you just gave Russia the biggest military budget in the history of the world.  And you re-authorized the Patriot Act so that you can continue to give Russia the content of every conversation that occurs in the US.  And you're approving Trump's Russian judges faster than anyone I can remember in my lifetime.

Russians aren't the ones who disagree with you -- you are, in fact, the Russian.

I take back what I said about you being humorless, this is the funniest post I've read in a long time.

I agree, speech is threatened -- but only by you and your fellow idiots trying to smear everyone who disagrees with the lies you spew.

Coughlin tried this method also, and he just got fired.

I always love when I see someone on here saying something along the lines of:

"Keep the political BS off this forum".... when almost always it really means: "Keep your political thoughts that do not mesh with mine off this forum, because if you posted something political on this football forum that I agree with, I would let it pass without a word"... The exception is hoorta, who actually just wants all political talk to stay on the trainwreck that is the Political Forum of this board.

You're right Dutch, but believe it or not, I'm really not that interested in political talk. It started out as a joke but a humorless forum member was apparently too butt hurt to take it in the spirit of good natured camaraderie as opposed to comrade-ry.  See, I can't stop. But threatening someone's free speech while accusing them of threatening free speech?

It's noT haRd to imagine who woUld eMPloy this tactic.

Not sure Freddie did all that. In my experience marriage does at least the weight gain part. His look... sure... if there's one thing Freddie ain't.... it's dapper.

I know, it was my turn for funnin'.

True enough, but there weren't all that many of us pulling for Williams either IIRC...

I do agree that if Freddie loses a chunk of the locker room, then that's the death knell...

Don't you think it's enough what he's done to Baker? It's like the Simpsons episode where their dog goes to live with grandpa Simpson and starts to take on his aged appearance. Baker is gaining weight, looking slovenly and is a shadow of the QB he was last year.

Wow... I did know all those players yelled at coaches...

... but thanks for playing our game.

Sorry Tour2ma, I wasn't clear. I was just rattling off players who had issues stemming from a lack of discipline, not saying they were all yelling at coaches. Only OBJ and Landry were doing that. I think you know what whitehead and Garrett did and for some reason the coach can't properly manage Randle, Higgins and Njoku.

Whitehead, Garrett, Randle, Higgins, Njoku, OBJ and Landry yelling at coaches and yes Baker calling out the medical staff and looking like a homeless wino during press conferences...is that enough for you???

Here are my two cents for what it worth....Lets see if Freddie can learn from year one and make jump just like we always talk about players making a jump in year two.

The problem is he has already proven that he doesn't do much learning from his mistakes. We continue to have discipline issues, he continues to make dumb calls, he continues to double down on his mistakes rather than owning up to them. This doesn't indicate someone who can make a positive leap forward and if we just wish it to be, it's us who taking an unfounded leap of faith. I'd rather stop the bleeding and get someone competent to run the team.

    Results we need this weekend:

    A.  Jets play Ravens.    I guess it really doesn't matter.  Ratfuckers seem to have the division sewn up.  We just need those purple pukes to be ready to beat the Steelers in a couple of weeks.

    B. Jags beating Raiders, and Saints beating Colts...will help us.  Even though we are ahead of each of them in the playoff standings, them losing means we would not have to look over our shoulders so much.  Saints over Colts is a good bet.   But the Jags, I have heard, have set some kind of record as being the only team now in NFL history to lose  like 5 games in a row by 17 points or more.    And I picked them to win that division!!

    C. Bills beating  Steelers.   That gives the Bills the top WC spot....but it looks like we have to concede that to them anyway.  Steelers need to get killed in this game.

    D.  Titans over Texans.    We have a better chance now of taking the WC spot if the Tits win that division, and if they beat the DumbAssTexans in the two games they have going forward.

    E. The other interesting game...though it has nothing to do with the Browns,  is the oldest league rivalry:  Bears vs. Packers.

Right on. C & D are the truly critical game results and of course we must beat Arizona.

he is a fucking crimminal that should get kicked out of the nfl...the asshole is so fucking lucky that helmet did not cause major injury....looking foward to seeing some headline during the offseason with him involved in some kind of felony charge....

You, my friend, live in a rage sparked world of fantasy untouched by fact and reason. Take a break and step outside. It's good for you.

Of course they will, because they are mentally weak.

But let an offending player play because that will teach the team long-term how to be professional. How about you be mad at the dumb ass player who got himself into that position?

Some of you would literally be the worst coach/boss ever.

The worst coach is the one who consistently make boneheaded decisions that lose their team games. The coach is unable to whip the team into shape and then he punishes the entire team because a few are not disciplined; which of course is the coaches fault to begin with. Being thoughtful with discipline that punishes the player but doesn't cost the team a game makes you a great coach/boss. The matter speaks for itself as we are seeing the results. I hope you like them.

    I disagree.

If you want to change the culture of the Browns FOR THE LONG RUN into one that demands professionalism and accountability, you can't cherry pick who you punish and when you punish someone. Basically, you might have to sacrifice one battle to win the overall war.

As much as we hate the Steelers, there's a reason they lost two great talents (and headcase divas) last season, their starting QB, have suffered tons of injuries and yet on December 1st are the #6 seed still.

Benching him for one of the tougher remaining games is punishing the team as much as the player. The war is almost over so losing this battle pretty much loses the war. I wouldn't surprise if this demoralizes the defense. Just fine the guy and move on.

bs. It is not felony assault. It is self-defense.

Not trying to be inflammatory, but you really have no idea what you're talking about. Swinging an object as hard as you can at someone's head which can lead to serious injury, paralysis or death i felony assault. Further he was yanking Rudolph's helmet so hard that he actually picket Rudolph up by the head. It looked like he was trying to break his neck. To me that was much worse than even hitting him with the helmet. Claiming self-defense is laughable.

I believe he'll get 5 or 6. Think albert Haynesworth stomping andre gurode helmetless head.

I hope I'm wrong but I think he'll be suspended indefinitely and be subject to psychological assessment before he is allowed near anything bearing the NFL crest, if at all. Someone in this topic commented that he "almost" committed a felony. There is no "almost".
