Yes, yes - a lot of football left and LOTS can change.  But as of now, the Ravens are clearly the best team in the North. That's the most physical team, and physical teams only get better as we head into Nov. and Dec. 

Your "friends" are right. This game just shows that even a great team can shoot itself in the foot and that Lamar Jackson is a good running back who will likely have a fairly short career.

This football season, I decided to see what would happen if I created a fantasy football league based on the actual players on each team. The results were surprising to say the least.

Agree. It's the crappy offensive scheming. Those who blame this on the loss of Zeitler, check out how his new team is doing from a QB pressure point of view. Daniel Jones is maybe the only other QB who's been under more pressure than Mayfield.

Baker Mayfield is a second year quaterback, and as the Browns fandom itself, has been made fun of. He has been a walk on, someone nobody counted on. A short QB with not so much mobility, in a top program, surrounded by a great cast that would make anyone wonder if he was the reason for their success. A loudmouth, overrated idiot who makes too many turnovers.

If somebody expects a Montana, a Brady, or a Brees playing for the Browns' team that finally makes it, keep waiting.

This season, whether we win or lose, we will do it together as a team, with our leader. 

Today at 1pm ET, our defense faces a quaterback with a hot hand who makes rushers look silly, our running back will have to rush through a good run defense, and our rookie coach will face a veteran that has won it all both in college and in the pros. 

But battles aren't won by the best soldiers, but by the best armies. 

And we have a good army.

Let's win one for Cleveland.

FYI, Baker Mayfield does not play Quaterback, Quarterflash or anything other than Quarterback.

I think Freddie got too much too fast. Last year he just had a few players to coach until mid season. Then he took over the whole offense. Remember when he asked Baker what plays he did not like and took them out of the playbook. Then focused on running the O which he did fairly well.  Running the whole team tho seems to be a little much for him. The O, D and ST and media is much more than OC. At least for the moment. My thought is to give him an assistant HC. Somebody to help more on the administrative side of things and let Freddie coach more and paperwork less.  Him and Baker worked well together and the FO should find ways to keep that going. 

This is exactly what it comes down to. There is no way he could learn to do everything a head coach needs to know in such a short amount of time and on top of that actually do it while trying to be the offensive play caller. Way too much, way too soon. He needs help.

One thing I've been wondering is with Todd Monken on board, whether Freddie stopped asking the team which plays they like or feel comfortable with. Things that looked effortless last year just don't seem to be comfortable.
