Was only able to see the final 45 laps...but what I saw was great!  Excellent finish!  Feel badly for O'Ward...but a great win for Newgarden!  Go Penske!  My grsandson's guy, Rossi, finished 4th.

News flash.  Stef is not the owner.  Every HC is a subordinate of the owner.

Flugal explained what he did this past season with the pieces of crap that he had for QB's.  Stef took the analytics playbook and put it on moth balls.  He didn't have the QB's to be 'analytics aggressive'.  I feel quite certain that Stef had to put his foot down on that point to the Haslem -  DePo tandem.  Much like, 'Hey!  Do you want this team to win football games?  Then I'm going to have to do it Old School.'  

When he masterfully got the team to the playoffs, the Texans got their QB back...and he played well...while ours was throwing it to the other team.  Not all Flacco's fault as he didn't have any Tackles on the offensive line.  They were NEVER going to go far in the playoffs with the number of starters they had missing.  The Cinderella Story ended pretty much as expected.  

I'm certainly not pinning any hopes on this Sirmon guy that they invited to come to the rookie festivities.  But he's got good size.  And he did enough to get signed.  He's got a couple of development QB's ahead of him, one that we drafted.  His odds are long but he's currently on our team and I wish the guy well.

9 road games including a 3 road game stretch.  A pretty well placed bye.  We play my grandson's team week 2.   

Call me what you want but, is playing a football game at 8:15pm on December 29th, outdoors in Cleveland, something that the FFF (founding football fathers) would've thought was a good idea?

I have a hard time believing that Stef will turn over the play calling.  I think that he proved himself last year with all of the QB turmoil going on and still winning games.  Having said that, it would be a good time to do it because he HAS proven himself.  And if things go south with the play calling it could always go back to him.  Of course, Dorsey would have to be a better play caller than he was an NFL QB.

A bridge pickup in the neck position can add some darkness and beef to the sound.  And darkness is usually not an issue with strats.     I like the idea of the mini humbucker in the bridge as they can sound quite thin sometimes in strats.  My personal favorite pickup is the P90.  I tried 3 Seymour Duncan humbuckers in the neck position of my Les Paul Modern trying to wake up the neck sound.  It was incredibly dark.  I finally put in a Seymour Duncan Phat Cat P90 and it did the trick!!  The LP sounds great now...of course I lost the push/pull coil split on the neck position but it was well worth the trade-off.  I now have 3 guitars with P90's.  My Guild Aristocrat P90 (Chinese built but an absolute great build and great sounding & playing guitar - and it was NOT expensive - I love that friggin' thing.  the only MOD I did to it was to peel off the Made In China sticker   ) and an SG Special, which I think I showed you, Sparkling Burgundy.

A couple (or a few now) years ago the New Orleans Saints came to play us in one of the coldest football games on record.  Watson had 3 TD passes go by the boards because they either slid right through frozen fingers or the receiver slipped and fell as the ball was just about to get to him.  The Saints had a crippled offense and had to run the Wild Cat about half the time...but that southern dome team beat us...in OUR house...in what was supposed to be OUR weather...and killed our playoff chances.

It is NOT a home field advantage.  The human beings playing on our team hate it as much as the human beings on other teams.  Anthony Walker told his agent to find him somewhere warm to play because he's sick of playing in the Cleveland weather.  And you know darned well that he's not the only player telling his agent that they don't want to play in Cleveland's weather.  

Watson was about to become a Falcon or a Saint.  Cleveland was stated as OUT of the running for Watson.  So Halsem had to guarantee him a quarter billion dollars to come to us.  

Here's an idea, build a dome, but enclose one small section and pump in COLD, SNOW & RAIN so the numb-nuts who want to sit in that weather can enjoy the games their way.
