  1. Sorry if I’m parroting something that was  previously posted, but the only thing that causes me any reservation about trading Watson lV to the Titans is it makes me wonder what Bill Callahan sees in him. Nobody recognizes OL talent any better.

I love when we switch to the Wild Cat with Hunt taking the shotgun snap.  You KNOW you're about to see one of his Hair On Fire runs that are so exciting.  If the play is being run inside the opponent's 10 yard line, Look Out, 'cuz it's probably going to be a TD.  :)

Hope we bring him back next season.

I'll Tell Ya When The Game Turned To $#!+.   When they didn't call pass interference on a pass for a 1st down to Njoku.  The defender clearly got there before the ball.  And from that point on the game went into the shitter.

Could not agree more!!! Went back and watched it a couple of more times. It was a mugging.

A little FYI for those of you who didn't know that much about Tom.... He was quite the traveler, visited all 50 states, and had been to EVERY National Park in the country, probably not many people could say that...

Some things I do remember about that trip. Tom was an antique aficionado. The home of American Pickers is in Nashville, so Tom insisted we go and check out the store. From my POV, I'd about rather have a root canal than spend any time in an antique store. When we got there about 10AM the wait to get in was already a city block+ long, so I told them hey screw this, I'm shopping elsewhere- stand in line and one of you come and get me when you get near the door.  There conveniently was a wine bar a few doors down, so I spent early morning happy hour (and it was almost an hour) before we were able to get in and view the junk collection.  😉

The Tailgate was memorable with the Middle Tennessee Browns Backers because who was there- to shake hands and take selfies with, none other than Jimmy Haslam.  I knocked the Titans off of my bucket list to see the Browns play in every NFL stadium, but since then covid (Dallas), and lousy scheduling- Thanksgiving (Denver), New Years (Washington) screwed that up.

There's a bunch of Browns road trips this year that are REALLY interesting though, outside of the usual AFCN.  Broncos, Commanders, Eagles, Jaguars, Raiders, Saints. One of my alternate family is a Raiders fan, so a trip to Vegas could be relatively cheap and interesting.

Thanks for the memories. Gip was just about my favorite poster. Erudite. Whip smart. Vicious sense of humor. We tried to connect several times, never came to pass. I miss his presence. Rest in peace brother.

  5. Dude played an insane game yesterday.

Seemed to have regressed last year...

Schwartz has brought out the best in him.

Would love to see him go to the Pro Bowl. He's earned it.

What do you think of his chances?

What about Delpit? He deserves a spot too.

Is the injury gonna cost him?

  6. Beast game by Delpit. IMHO best as a pro.

    From Dawgs By Nature:

The man was seemingly all over the field today. Late in the first quarter, it seemed that the Bengals were going to convert a third-and-seven when Delpit came flying out of center field and decked WR Tyler Boyd who was short. Needing eight yards on another third down situation with six ticks left in Quarter 3, Burrow hit tight end Irv Smith who is much bigger than Delpit, yet the Browns safety was able to bring him down just short. On a third-and-four with 8:21 left in the contest, RB Chris Evans caught a short pass in the left flats and met Delpit for a one-yard loss. On the next possession, Cincinnati began massive substitutions. Delpit led all tacklers with eight.

  7. An observation-

With all the hoopla about about the receiving room - the well deserved praise for Moore, Cooper, the development of Tillman, Watkins, even  Bell, anybody else feel like People Jones is flying under the radar this camp.

Not seeing his name anywhere. You?
