Chubb,  Ford,  Strong,  Hines,  Foreman.   ( 5 guys.  Someone is in a rather 'weak' position )

For sure. Hines will probably be mostly special teams and maybe some passing down work. If Chubb starts the season on IR, it will be mostly Ford/Foreman with Strong getting minimal touches. Then when Chubb comes back, Strong goes to the practice squad.

  2. Raiders signed TE Harrison Bryant. C Nick Harris to the Seahawks. Bryant was alright but not losing much with those two.

Browns sign TE/fullback Giovanni Ricci and Tony Brown - a couple of special teamers.

    Browns re-signed P Bojorquez for two years - that's a good move.

Browns sign backup OT Hakeem Adeniji from Cincy for some o-line depth.

Why would the Browns be desperate to upgrade their WR room?

Don't they know the genius that is Comrade Calfox has deemed it to be vastly upgraded last year? 🤣

Watch out Dutch, you know he's coming here with some obscure, cherry-picked stat that actually has nothing to do with the point he is trying to make.

  4. The big variable here is when does Nick Chubb return. You know that MAN is working his ass off to get back as soon as possible.

Those names above are obvious good choices, but with our salary cap situation I'm not sure we can do any of them unless they come here on a team friendly deal.

If Chubb misses time, we need someone who can run between the tackles for an entire game. Ford isn't a bruiser, Hunt was good in short-down situations but isn't a workhorse anymore. A few free agent RB's fitting this mold come to mind:

Gus Edwards - he's a 238lb monster and is a north-south runner like Chubb and can steamroll, not a pass catcher but we won't need him to.

D'Onta Foreman - 235lbs bowling ball, north-south runner, also can't pass catch like Edwards.

Of course I'd take any of the above five RB's over these guys, but there's really no sexy options we can afford. Plus, it depends on Chubb, is he coming back Week 3 or Week 14? Chubb's estimated return will dictate how badly we need to spend here.

Did you just type "easy two W's" ....

Nothing's ever easy regarding the Browns vs Steelers unfortunately....

Fuck the Steelers. This is the new and improved version of the Browns! Steelers got lucky Chubb got injured in Week 2.

  6. That would be great news if Wilson signed with the Steelers. He's completely washed up. He benefited from playing with a top 5 all-time defense and the best running back in the league at the time in Marshawn Lynch when he was in Seattle. If he signs with the Steelers that's an easy two W's for us next year.

As long as the draw of Taylor Swift is attached to the Chiefs, they will be the League and Media Broadcast Partner darlings. In inescapable. I also think the preferred treatment is inexcusable.

But I give them credit, in 11 years they've gone from picking #1 to winning 3 Super Bowls in five years. And they've done it with two different WR/RB combos.

I'm not sure of their cap situation. I'm not sure Chris Jones will be back, but I don't expect significant roster shake ups and all the HC positions have been filled so they'll have minimal turnover.

It's amazing how in five years, they've gone from likeable underdogs against the Patriots to THE most hated team in the league. I don't recall a small market team or a team from flyover country, in any sport, as hated.

And people are starting to experience Kelce fatigue.

Now the pressure mounts, there's never been a Super Bowl Three-Peat and you'd better believe the league offices would not be heartbroken if it was Kansas City and all the cross marketing they can get from Taylor Swift fans jumping on the Chiefs bandwagon.

Other than Andy Reid, there's absolutely nothing I like about the Chiefs. Reid is unquestionably the best coach in the NFL and has been for a while, he is a first ballot Hall of Famer. Mahomo and Kelce are unbearable, and yes, I am fatigued and sick of both of them. Prepare for the 2024-2025 season to be another year of the NFL cramming the Chiefs down our throats.

points well taken. The bucs, though, had their oline dominated. The bucs have to add a dynamic wr to their wr group. They have Evans, a 2014 first round pick, and Godwin, a 2017 3rd pick. And Palmer? He was a 6th round pick the last draft. In the playoffs, that isn't strong enough to go against an outstanding defense. Peyton Manning, one of the GOATS, threw 4 interceptions once in a playoff game. Hell, the Bucs had Tom Brady for three years. TOM BRADY ! they got to the playoffs, too.

But lost. That tells the tale, to me.

You are completely delusional. Mike Evans and Chris Godwin might be one of the best WR duos in the game. Who cares if Godwin is a 3rd rounder? He's an All Pro and Pro Bowler.

You point out Tom Brady played for the Bucs and lost. But you happened to forget about Brady winning the Bucs a Super Bowl. You conveniently left that part out.

Faker Mehfield is who he is. A mediocre QB who chokes in big moments, chokes in the 4th quarter, and chokes in the playoffs against the best teams. Getting 9 wins in the worst division in football is nothing to brag about. Beating an Eagles team who went 1-6 the last seven games is nothing to brag about. The Bucs lost to the Lions because Faker had 2 turnovers and Goff had 0, then Faker choked in the 4th as usual. It's on him, not his o-line.
