  1. Haha, remorseful? Not according to the judge. Let the lies flow. lol
  2. Yet: "Mr. Watson is hereby suspended for six (6) regular-season games without pay," she ruled. "Although this is the most significant punishment ever imposed on an NFL player for allegations of non-violent sexual conduct, Mr. Watson's pattern of conduct is more egregious than any before reviewed by the NFL." She ruled according to the precedent the NFL had set, but it almost seems like the NFL has her blessing should they choose to appeal.
  3. "I know I only get to start thanks to those massage therapists so don't rub it in."
  4. Are you feeling OK Axe? lol Slurs against any group have always been unacceptable, the left being the most triggered and upset about them being used. The only slurs that are acceptable to those people are slurs against conservatives.
  5. Yeah well the Cleveland Browns have been a whole miserable mess since they returned. After this is over, it will be something else.
  6. The largest U.S. anti-sexual assault group wants the NFL to appeal the Deshaun Watson ruling (yahoo.com) Berkowitz, speaking three hours after the ruling, reasoned that a year-long suspension was “the minimum that should have been put into place, given the seriousness of [Watson’s actions].” “There's no length that will make up for the harm that he's done to these dozens of women,” he said. “But I think at least a year makes a pretty strong statement that this is not gonna be tolerated.” The six games, on the other hand, “unfortunately mirrors what we experience in the criminal justice system,” Donisha Greene, the director of community engagement at the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center, said in an interview. “It sends a message to the community that those who are in a position of power and celebrity are not held accountable for their actions when they commit violence against others.” Violence? I don't agree with the reasoning the above two people have for advocating a yearlong suspension. Behaving in a lewd manner is not rape.
  7. Although I don't find myself going to that extreme, I don't blame you at all for feeling the way you do. But how would you feel if Watson was to serve a full year suspension rather than a six game? Rizzo on KNR played a montage of media taking heads expressing their opinion on the suspension, and one believing Watson deserves a one year suspension stuck out as making a lot of sense.... He said that upon completion of Watsons lengthy one year suspension, fans most conflicted about Watson would come around and be of the mindset that the man has paid his dues ...and that it is now time forgive and forget and get back to playing football, and that's exactly how I would feel. At this point he still remains a scumbag to a lot of Browns fans.
  8. Six games for "a" violation? Hmmm... 6 games X 24 violations = 144 games. I'd say he got off with less than a slap on the wrist but rather a pat on the head saying "now run along and be a good boy Deshaun." Interesting. It's likely he would have received the same punishment had he only been accused of misbehaving one time. That doesn't seem right.
  9. "Interesting"? ...depends on who you're talking to. This is a Baker to Carolina thread so fuck em if they give you a hard time. LOL
  10. Who really lost all sense of political ideologies? You don't consider Trump and his MAGA supporters as being radicals? The line that once marked the center keeps moving to the left. If you had not noticed, many on the left now label those that are anti-gay marriage and pro-life advocates as "right-wing extremists". I believe it's appropriate to label a president who comes across as an advocate of open borders, and one who shut down the Keystone pipeline only to go to Saudi Arabia only to beg for oil as a left-wing extremist. Trumps policies or actions were nowhere near radical but him being a radical was the illusion created by the left and the media which you bought into.
  11. He'll win 6. First loss will be our 7th game at the Ravens. When DW comes back.
  12. Well that ends DW's massage sessions if the NFL club approved therapists are all males. Although I was surprised to learn that the majority of massage therapists were indeed women. “Seventy percent of spa-goers are female, and there are more female therapists, so it makes sense that this would be the preference,” she said. Indeed, 85 percent of massage therapists in the United States are women, according to the American Massage Therapy Association. But culture and nationality also play a role"
  13. You found the nut with that one.lol I didn't have to open the link to be convinced that the vast majority of illegals are here only to make a better life for themselves. I had always believed that was the case. But should they be here illegally? No.
  14. Dear Lord I can't believe people still aren't getting it. Two grand juries would not indict him because he did nothing ILLEGAL, not that he didn't do anything wrong. From the NFL personal conduct policy: Everyone who is part of the league must refrain from “conduct detrimental to the integrity of and public confidence in” the NFL. This includes owners, coaches, players, other team employees, game officials, and employees of the league office, NFL Films, NFL Network, or any other NFL business. It is not enough simply to avoid being found guilty of a crime. We are all held to a higher standard and must conduct ourselves in a way that is responsible, promotes the values of the NFL, and is lawful. The perv had not been railroaded and deserved what he got.
  15. I would have titled this thread "A Happy Ending for most Browns fans"! lol
  16. Or if he hired two thugs in Biden caps to beat him up.
  17. Clarify what you're implying by "right wing reactionary trash?" That it's all made up? Or is it just an expression of anger from having to hear the truth about the left? Reacting to the Bernie supporter who took a gun to a baseball game in order to shoot as many Republicans as possible was "reactionary trash"? Jussie Smollette hiring two thugs in MAGA hats to beat him up was fake? Maxine Waters calling for Americans to confront and threaten Trump supporters was a lie?
  18. Well where do you think he got the bright idea? From all the documented attacks, assaults, threats on Republicans, that's where. He took advantage of it. You don't have to be conditioned to believe Biden is a radical liberal. The evidence is in plain view.
  19. Exactly. The mafia owns or had owned legitimate businesses as a way to launder money from illegal activities. Most employees were not mafia members. The mob once owned the Stardust, the Desert Inn, Hacienda, Golden Nugget, Sahara, and Fremont casinos in Vegas. So what you're telling me that the hotel clerks, cooks, waitresses, custodians, entertainers, table dealers paid no income taxes on their earnings? Thats harder to swallow than a Hindu eating a hamburger. Remember, the idea is to run a legitimate business. Paying employees under the table to avoid taxation wouldn't be very smart.
  20. Because you only look at it superficially. The mob employs people who most likely pay taxes. How many illegals do you know do? At least mob members are known to be good Catholics and go to church every Sunday. LOL Businesses the mob are involved in: Garbage Hauling/Waste Management. Gambling. Carpentry and Construction. Wind Energy. Real Estate. Restaurants and Pizzerias. Bars. Pornography
  21. Thats been goin on for ages with American workers. Plus you are looking at it superficially. There are approximately 3.7 million unlawful immigrant households in the U.S. These households impose a net fiscal burden of around $54.5 billion per year.
  22. The possibility of a repeat of a famous quote came to mind should the US swing a deal to bring this woman home.
  23. To the contrary, I think you just made a strong case for you believing what you want to believe. Are you implying racial bias as it pertains to incarceration? Thats the rumor, but that doesn't dismiss the fact that 13% percent of the population commit a grossly disproportional amount of crime. FBI — Table 43 According to the FBI, African-Americans accounted for 55.9% of all homicide offenders in 2019, with whites 41.1%, and "Other" 3.0% in cases where the race was known. Among homicide victims in 2019 where the race was known, 54.7% were black or African-American, 42.3% were white, and 3.1% were of other races.
  24. Arguably? That you may be a pedophile is plausible? lol J/K with ya Woody.
