    KERA LAKES REMEDIATION

In Spring 2022, the area known as Kera Lakes became the subject of a notice of deficiency issued by the West Virginia Division of Environmental Protection (WVDEP). The notice specified that the dams were never permitted and were not up to code, which meant the associated lakes were out of compliance. The property owner at that time, West Virginia Economic Development Authority (WVEDA), was informed that failure of the lakes could pose a potential life-threatening situation to anyone traveling State Route 2. WVEDA was required to either bring the impoundments into compliance or drain the lakes as a potential life-saving measure.

Upon purchasing the property from WVEDA in late 2022, BHE Renewables evaluated all options for Kera Lakes, including discussing the matter with other potential owners of the lakes and determined the safest course of action is to drain the remaining two lakes and recontour the basin back to its original condition of a free-flowing natural stream. The proposed removal plan calls for the impoundments to be slowly drained and fish safely captured and relocated to a nearby private pond. The area will also be revegetated to control erosion."

The work has started. The Titanium plant work started in Aug 2023. I’ve been on the site numerous times for deliveries. It is a decent size site, but it pales in comparison to the Nucor plant going in in Mason county

Most I notice offer nothing to contribute, and whine when anything you provide disagrees with their view.

I noticed we probably have disagreed on a few things and yet never felt the need to yell at each other. I think it's a lefty condition and it spreads to others who don't quite follow along but think their opinion trumps others cause they think being in the middle is something new or only they are in the middle.

Who else is in the middle?  No one here for sure.

Uh no there it isn't. I was agreeing with you, then gave an example.

    Read more carefully net time..

You just proved my point. As I said, the only thing more predictable then this board is the Sunrise and Sunset

I was surprise, though, that cal didn’t jump in with a post of 3-10 examples from some website he reads

I’m real curious about WV because l’m sure Trump’s name was uttered many a time in ads for local candidates. Were there any specific candidates who were flat out over-the-top with how much they support Trump? And how did they fare in the results?

The primary election isn’t until May 14. It suck’s seeing all these ads. Plus where I live the local stations are from Huntington. And those stations serve Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia. So I get 3 states worth of political BS.

It’s hard to tell who will win anything here. All the candidates love Trump and they all claim to support him and have his backing. That might be true, but as soon as one of them crosses him, they will be ridiculed and Trump will start calling them names, as he has done from Day one.
Every commercial mentions Trump numerous times. It’s sad really. They have zero platform other than to follow their leader. No original thoughts on any issue

Jimmy Johnson, I mean Jimmy Harbaugh, couldn't wait to get out of there.  It's hard to keep the cheaters straight but they both did the same sprint to the NFL.  All that and he only gave you 1 National Championship.  Ohio State has 2 in the new millennium.

And the 1 title is marred by a cheating scandal.
