they are mostly independent with principals and a choice.

to your point, company-hired drivers can only hope to boycott NYC if they so choose?

If he was an Owner Operator, then yes he can boycott all he wants. But if he does that, the companies he hauls for can just not use him, or if he abandons a load somewhere, those companies will DEFINITELY not EVER use him again

If he’s a company driver, then you go were they tell you or suffer the consequences

Either way, money trumps principles most times. Unless you are already wealthy. And don’t need money

" Genuine-ly funny !"   100%  back when the  ' must - see tv '  really was just was that.   And back when    'sit-coms'    actually had true professional writers putting out night-after-night   of high quality classic shows msny of which that are watched    AND ARE  '....STILL QUOTED EVEN TODAY'  .....   unlike the unbearible  'potty humor trash'   being offered to everyone now.    So not funny.

Most of the good stuff now you can’t even see unless you pay for it.

I guess my point is the whole system is corrupt for the most part. I'm not talking deep state or any conspiracy theories.

If you ever heard stories about your local gov't, like people just creating a job title out of thin air so they could have a friend come in and do nothing to make 80k+/year, that kind of corruption. All the back door deals, making bills so they can 'do good' by spending money just to get a kickback in some way. You probably can't even get into higher positions of gov't without favors and being in debt to those favors.

Until we hold accountable those that are corrupt nothing will improve, instead it'll get worse. Like being over run by illegals that contribute nothing but take from our resources. The question is how do we hold them accountable?

By and large, none of these people in either party care about us and less and less about our country.

It’s been this way for decades. The politicians are not here to help us, unless they get rich doing it.
They don’t pass legislation, to make things better, unless they get something out of it.

Because I always dislike the  sec or any other conferences parade around  with NC Trophies .... I'd rather a  BIG TEN Team  that we play do it ..... year after year  (like  Ohio State does)  when we win.   Simple enough ?   Us not them.

I don’t like ANY OF THEM
I will NEVER root for the cheaters up north. Or the pediphiles in Pa. Or some school in NJ or CA.

    GO OSU.  Nothing else matters

Time to leave this thread for for-ever.  Congratulations on winning a big trophy for The BIG TEN !

    See you next season.

Why do people care about the conference?
I want OSU to win, all other teams in the conference can go spit

I would never root for the ratbirds, or stoolers, because they are in our division

I would imagine they would build some kind of "ballpark village" around it, like the Patriots did around Foxboro.

But I don't quite understand how that works when the stadium you build around only hosts a very small amount of events there...

If they build an indoor stadium, they can hold a lot more events.

As someone who had season tickets for 18 years, the elements are way overrated IMO. Sure it’s nice to be outside in September and October, but give me climate control, all day long, in December and January.

when the team was bad, I couldn’t give the tickets away when the weather sucked at the end of the year.

Probably not even one.  Taylor Swift has an estimated net worth of $1.1 billion as of October 2023, per Bloomberg. Swift made more than $780 million on the U.S. leg of her 2023 The Eras Tour, according to an estimate by Forbes.

She still couldn’t be worse than Haslam
