  1. As I said above I sent invites out to the entire old Phil Dawson's Browns Board Group to join Phil Dawson's Browns Board 2 and thus far only Squirrel2Stew has joined. I am guessing that many of you might not be checking the email accounts that you used to sign up with originally. So I am going to post the link for you here to get back into the league. https://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/f1/1356537/invitation?key=679cd4a0074c0df4&soc_trk=lnk&ikey=59db6ba757710882 If it asks for a password it is either Beer or beer. Now get in the league so we can get ready for the draft on Tuesday night!!! Let's try to have everybody from the old group in by Sunday morning. If we can't get everybody back we will open it up on Sunday for any other BB members to grab another team or a team so we can all play this year. We need these teams: Zombo, MJP, Calfox, Multiple Scoregasm?, TexasChainsawMassaquis, BrownsNMopar, WhyCan'tWeWin, StimulusPackage, UGotBlitzed, and Njoku'sOnYou I will try to email everybody one more time again on saturday too.
  2. I created a new league since Flyin J is MIA. It is called Phil Dawson Browns Board 2. I set up a draft time and we can always alter it as needed. I also invited everybody from the old group. Hopefully everybody will jump on board and then we will just need one more person for an even number of teams.
  3. Yes, still not a draft time for Phil Dawson group. If the commish is out, I can take over. Just let me know.
  4. Kelly would be great to keep if they can trade Hunt. A talented vet for next to nothing.
  5. 3, a fullback and then practice squad backs if needed to activate.
  6. I don't mind if he stays, but the best bet would be a trade if we can get it. If somebody's top back, or top 3rd down back goes down I think it is a simple trade. He only has a one year deal. I would rather keep more young talent at a position of extreme depth.
  7. Wow what a play by Bell. A rookie with that kind of knowledge is impressive.
  8. I think the answer is we trade Kareem Hunt. He has the name and the highest salary other than Chubb. Trade him now so you can keep somebody else. And I like Hunt.
  9. I really was not concerned with what they gave up because they have proven they can trade and add picks and find value. It is the only way a team can build a winning team year in and year out. We are also stacked with talent I really think the only pieces we need over the next few years will be another true #1 receiver, o-line and d-line.
  10. Remember when the Browns couldn't get a draft pick right? It seems like they have fixed that problem. Looks like we made some really good decisions again this year in the draft. It is really nice to see the draft picks making big plays in the first preseason game.
  11. Well we have one guy who showed up to play tonight for sure! I think it is safe to say that we can trade Hunt now with all the RB depth we have.
  12. The only thing I guess I can say other than the Browns look like crap is that this is Jacksonville's 2nd preseason game so maybe that is why they are a little more cohesive. But this is really ugly.
  13. I just ordered my I HATE THE STEELERS shirt from The Luna team shop so they are still available. It will take about 2 weeks to receive. There is plenty of time to get one this year before the first Steelers matchup of the season. You can all get a name and a number added to the back if you want which I thought was cool. Hopefully, some of the proceeds still benefit the board.
  14. My brother and I will be up! See you all on Sunday.
  15. I met Stan around 2003-2004 shortly after finding this board. I was welcomed immediately at my first tailgate and Stan and I hit it off right from the start (like he did with so many others). He was such a jokester that I actually didn't believe the news of his passing when Kathy messaged me (for which I now feel terrible). There are so many great stories we can all tell about our times with Stan, and so many that we have heard about him from others during our tailgates. He was truly one of a kind with an energy, and unmatched whit and will be terribly missed. One thing Stan told me recently sums him up perfectly. He told me not to do something halfway. If you are going to do something you have to always be all in. After all, that is what he did with his family, his friends, his coaching, his work........ My thoughts are with his family and friends at this very trying time. I wish you all the very best. Stan will never be forgotten!
