Looks to me like kicker got settled Friday with Seibert's 4 for 4, all right down the middle. This just turned into a no-brainer decision.

I would hope the kicker job is over. But who knows  I don't think anybody can do worse than Joseph.

A Tavern where people can get booted for posting under fake names and trolling would be pretty sweet too.

How would we know if it is a fake name? Not to mention I am willing to bet Dutch Oven is not your name no more than my name is medicine man. So what fake names are you talking about? I only have 1 account on here and have no plans to make another.

Wasn't where I was going with it, as I couldn't and wouldn't trade my players, I was going off of the profession. Not saying something bad about an opposing coach where it could get back to him

Didn't the 49ers Coach do that to the media about Vernon Davis a few years back? When they had Mike S as head coach and he had that big melt down?

DSG had the one great return for a td.  He almost dropped the punt and it's not that he made anyone miss on it either.  It was perfectly blocked for him to run straight up field for 20 yards then veer to the sideline.

D'Ernest Johnson has shown very good patience vision and elusiveness as well as a good quick burst. We should have 3 rbs on the 53 man with hunt out the first 8 weeks that leaves Chubb Johnson and Hilliard.

I realize you may not be advocating for keeping DSG strictly over D'Ernest, but Johnson can do so much more for this team in the offense and can provide just about as big of a spark in the return game also. Kick returns and punt returns have really diminished in importance in the last couple years due to new kickoff rules and punters getting better at hang time and directional kicking.  It just doesn't make sense for a team that should be a playoff contender to use a spot on a feel good story return specialist if he can't contribute elsewhere.  He played 3 snaps in the "dress rehearsal" game.

Would you believe the past two years we were 3rd both years in average yards per punt return? I know you were around on the board so you are well aware a lot of people hated our special teams performance and coach.  They also hated jabrill peppers and he could actually contribute in another phase of the game (last year at least not giving too much credit woody lol).

Again his story and determination is great but that isn't a reason to find a reason to keep a guy.

Maybe find a spot for him on the practice team, at least until Callaway is back from his 4 game suspension. Have we even tried to let him run any routes as a wide out? 1 preseason game left why not? But I do trust this Front office. So Whatever they decide

  5. There is no reason the Indians don't make the playoffs, The Browns we are waiting to see what they look like come season starts and as far as the young Cavs team?? We hope they maybe win 20 games this season? Only 19 wins last year, K. Love did miss most of the season last year I believe he only played in 22 games and out of the 22 games he did average 20 points per game and with sexton coming in his second season "Young Bull" should add some spark to the team.

Lol, I am sure they do amongst themselves, but as a lawyer/judge would you actually be able to be quoted as saying such things?

As a coach, I can think someone from an opposing team is doing a bad job with their players. I would probably talk about it amongst the other coaches with me, but I would never say it to the other guys face, in a public forum, or anywhere that I could be quoted as saying such.

Very true. No coach would ever tell another team that a player is awful that they mite try to trade.

  7. I live right at the W.V. border so I can easily go to the Wheeling Downs and place bets on Sports. But if you don't live close by you can still place bets on line so I am not sure if this would even make a difference for the lotto commission but never know, Mite help the first few weeks of the season but it is a pain in the ass to park, walk to the casino then walk back to the parlor where you place the bets then walk back? they want you to walk past a slot and shovel money in to them.

  8. Nothing against either of the punters but that position is the least of our concerns, Don't we still have Britten or whatever his name is under contract? If it is not broke don't fuck with it, focus on getting us a real kicker and for the Love of God stop showing pictures of Scott Player.

And you didn't mention how Jay Z Believes that HE is God. That's what his name translates to. Not to mention if you play his song "Lucifer" backwards you can hear "6 6 6 Murder murder Jesus" And yes I have tried it and yes I did hear it and NO I do not listen to coon tunes

Think we keep 6..Landry/OBJ/Higgins/Strong/Willies/ #6.????  Who's left..Callaway suspended 4, loses spot till week 5.. DJ Montgomery IR, loses spot till week 8.. Ratley/Hyman/Sheehy/Miller/Baker---one spot left?//2 preseason games left to earn the spot.. ST'er may seal the deal..It's a good watch

I know I said it before but I really was bummed we let Perriman go. Had great speed, decent hands (for us any how) and was still young. We could of kept him for cheap and he had a grudge against the Ratbirds. A Real head scratcher if we let a guy like him go and keep Willies or Strong?

This just seems like nothing more than a story to occupy some people from looking more in to the Pedo who got "Clinton"ed while in jail. "Just keep on moving people, nothing to see here just keep moving forward"

I mean, some Browns fans booed Derek Anderson while he was being carted off the field, so...

Thought that was Tim Couch? Most Browns fans thought Brady Quinn was going to be a NFL Super Star and thought D.A. was standing in his way, Anderson was only a tad bit better than Quinn, We won 10 games thanks to Anderson then he fell flat on his face the very next year. Not lets never bring up his name again

He'll have pain the rest of his life...

From What I "Gathered" He plans on going to the XFL. I am not sure if he plans on playing or just doing media type work but the word is that is his next stop

  14. I really thought Hunt would of made a impact, I thought he is good enough to be a starting RB  so Not having Chubb was a big deal. (So I figured any how) The back up TE Seth D  dropped a easy pass and missed a couple blocks so some concerns there, Maybe we should of kept Fells,? But you are correct not having 4 of our weapons on Offense did show. Did Callaway play at all either? I believe he can be a threat and do some damage to defenses if given the chance. Had a few great catches last season,
