If it set the team back so far, why did the team just win 11 games 2 years into the trade? As far as your concern about holding ALL men responsible for extensive sexual harassment/misconduct histories (including former reality TV stars) - you've been very reluctant to do that. 😁 That's what is really eating your ass!
Looks like Tattle Cal has been busy complaining to you. While you're playing Lancelot for him - can you take a selfie in your adorable armor?
Have you ever wondered where all this love and affection for Baker was from Cal back when the guy was actually a Cleveland Brown? No? For some reason, you guys are rooting more for him today as a TB Buc. And all of this was because a very rich man (Watson) felt above the law with the ladies after they made him disrobe for the massage table. When you START holding other men with extensive histories of sexual harassment just as responsible - I'll take you and your poli buddy Cal a lot more serious about the subject.
In the last 2 years or so, have you EVER seen me over on the poli board trying to cause trouble or even posting at all? I stay in my lane (on the football board) and you fucking know that. And Aggies defended this country on foreign soil so I respect the guy and his passion and knowledge for football and get this - THE BROWNS. Like always and especially under Atenears' watch back in the day - troll the football board at your own risk...
I don't care about Cal. And I don't give a fuck about anybody's opinions on Politics on this particular board and even though you are my friend I will delete your post right after I make this response. I personally a huge fan of Baker Mayfield I love the guys attitude I love the chip on his shoulder I love his ability to overcome adversity and I love the fact that he took a second rate team to the playoffs. Again I don't think Watson should be denied an opportunity to make a living but so far he sucks. Maybe it will turn around.
So for anybody here that wants to attack Cal for liking the guy he might as well attack me too.
And unlike the Browns front office Todd Bowles in Tampa Bay tried to work with what Baker had to offer. Whatever the reason was for the hostility up here fuck them too. But it's always good to have the Puritans check in.

Yeah, it's only adultery 😁. The moral compass only seems to get used in here for Watson.
And that bothers you as much or more than multiple counts of sexual imposition and alleged rape? Got it you guys hate Cal so much that you pull stuff like this out of your ass. And no doubt neither you nor Tex have ever had sex with any woman in the very first one. Ironically he's probably the only guy that never did any of those things. But like I said you don't have to be a prude to hate the Watson deal. Winston didn't set the team back that much so who cares?

Too bad your obvious disdain for a QBs' sexual problems don't seem to extend to your politician.
You don't have to be a prude to hate the Watson trade. But you do if you're going to shit your pants over a consensual peccadillo in the parking lot of the cheesecake factory.

Well he sucks, and he's an asshole so I can see what Jimmy sees in him.
I think if you buy a Winston Jersey they throw in a rape kit and 5 lb of crab legs.

It won't "prevent" anything. It doesn't prevent vehicular deaths either. But it sure as hell would help reduce gun violence, just like these actions reduce vehicular deaths.
But the pro gun side will say exactly what you're saying, as if any action that doesn't completely eliminate gun violence isn't worth doing. We're so fucked overall that we need to just start taking steps in the right direction, but we've only gone back. (Paranoid posters feeling the need to have a gun on them at all times, etc.).
Hey, at least you can see how asinine the cars and guns comparison is. That puts you a step about our delusional gun nuts on this board. Crazy to think some talking head (probably) came up with that comparison years ago and they all thought it was the most bullet proof (pun intended) logic ever...
Nor is it meant to. If it did one side would win the open ended debate and couldn't use it as a campaign ad anymore.

Checkmate NEO
Well, pretty much. Just because you guys have used the term assault weapon to make something seem scarier. And seriously, correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Neo own at least one or two semi-automatic weapons?
Carry on.

When I said people buy the AR because it looks cool, and customizable, but because when the shit hits the fan, they want firepower. Why do you think the AR platform is popular amongst US Citizens, law enforcement, and mass shooters alike?
Saying "50,000 reasons and counting why you need an AR-15" is an acknowledgement that the AR platform is a powerful and dangerous weapon system capable of mass casualties. But when you call the AR an assault rifle, you get the what about the assault forks, and assault screwdrivers, and blah blah, but you ALSO NEED one in case you need to fight off the government. But you can't just admit it outright, that AR's are a dangerous weapon.
If you want to use the second amendment card, then why not stand behind it? What's with the assault forks , assault knives, pencils nonsense? Why not just lead with that? "Yeah, we know AR's are dangerous, but so what. The second amendment allows us to have them" How are you going to solve a problem when half the population thinks AR's are no more dangerous than a hammer?
And truck mounted technicals, and RPG's, and IED's, and mortars, and alot more. But yeah, they also use AK's.
Well we've pissed that Amendment away many years ago so there's that. But yes to stay true to it the citizens should be allowed to have equal Firepower to whoever the out of control government forces are. And those days it was cannons and muskets. Today it would be automatic weapons etc. But like I said fortunately or unfortunately according to your point of view that Amendment means nothing today. Is there any misunderstanding?

I suppose the idea is to go toe to toe with the govt if it comes to that. They have AR 15s, we should have AR 15s They have tanks. We should have tanks. They have bazookas…
Bazookas!
That was exactly the idea when they wrote the amendment.
But that was a long time ago, before we sold our Birthright for a saucer of cold porridge.

So you really don't have a reason you "need" an AR-15. Someone takes a shot at you in the mall, you going to pull your AR-15 out of your fanny pack or your waist belt? What about the grocery store, do you carry your AR-15 there? Or in the post office? What about when you walk in the neighborhood or on the bike trail, do you carry your AR there?
What about home defense, what makes an AR a better option then say a Mossberg 500 pump action 12 gauge or a SIG 226 9mm handgun with a 20 round capacity magazine? I protect myself with a 5 shot .357 snub nose revolver and one extra speed loader, plenty for self defense.
You have an AR for the same reason everyone else has one, because you WANT one. You like the weapon system, so you went out and bought one. THere's no practical reason to need one other than just to have it.
Freedom shouldn't hinge on whether somebody needs something or not. Nobody needs a firearm of any kind at least not very many people. Just making that point the rest of them you guys can fight out by yourselves.

2024 Oscar compilation. Remember never bet anything you can’t afford to lose!
Best supporting actress
The favorite is Da Vine Joy Randolph and while I enjoyed THE HOLDOVERS she did nothing that anyone couldn't have done; she's not really an actress, just fat and African American. My preference would be Danielle Brooks for THE COLOR PURPLE which is among this seasons inexplicable snubs.
Best supporting actor
The favorite is Robert Downey junior for OPPENHEIMER and I’m good with that decision. I could also live with Mark Ruffalo for POOR THINGS or Robert De Niro for KILLERS OF THE FLOWER MOON, his best role in years.
Best actress
The favorite is Emma Stone for POOR THINGS and I agree wholeheartedly.
Best actor
The favorite is Cillian Murphy from OPPENHEIMER but if it were up to me the winner would be Bradley Cooper for MAESTRO.
Best director
Again Christopher Nolan, OPPEMHEIMER, is the odds on favorite but especially since I thought it was long and boring I would much prefer Martin Scorsese for KILLERS OF THE FLOWER MOON one of the best movies and biggest directing challenges in many years.
Often best director is more of a consolation prize for someone who did a great job but another film just turned into a juggernaut. Meaning that favorite Nolan might get edged out. We shall see that a few days.
Best picture
First of all I don’t think any foreign film should be listed as a nominee for best picture Regardless of how woke or inclusive the members of the Academy fancy themselves to be. There’s already a category for best foreign film and that should be good enough. Aside from that I don’t think anybody can truly appreciate something with subtitles. At least the three foreign pictures nominated this year art anywhere near the top 10 betting favorites: ANATOMY OF A FALL, PAST LIVES and THE ZONE OF INTEREST Are all in the bottom 5. Unfortunately two films I thought were Oscar worthy round out the bottom 5 MAESTRO, an impressively unique Leonard Bernstein biopic and AMERICAN FICTION an entertaining and thoughtful film about the hypocrisy and stupidity of the woke Hollywood crowd. In the 4th and 5th position (not likely to win the gold) are THE HOLDOVERS, one of my personal favorites of the season and KILLERS OF THE FLOWER MOON, which in my opinion is the best film of the year hands down. The top three in ascending order of likelihood of success: 3 BARBIE, not only misguidedly woke but a completely unfunny and poorly crafted piece of crap, 2 POOR THINGS , A very long and particularly unpleasant film but with a brilliant payoff at the end so I could actually live with it winning, and the odds on favorite for months and I don’t see much change in the buzz, 1 OPPENHEIMER Which I found to be way too long and bloated with unnecessary detail.
And they are off. See you at Sardi’s

There is extremism at both ends.
According to Gallup's May 2023 update on Americans' abortion views, 34% believe abortion should be legal "under any circumstances," 51% say it should be legal “only under certain circumstances,” and 13% say it should be illegal in all circumstances.
Sounds about right.
I wonder how many of the guys here are with the 13%? And that 13% aren't voting Democrat anyway.

Abortion is absolutely going to be a killer. I'm not saying my opinion is the best, but they better adopt something more in the middle and get the Democrats to do the same.
I think Trump will fully support Israel but he's smart to stay away from that and allow the extra votes upset at Biden to flow his way.
Probably and more probably a good idea just to soft peddle it.
I don't think anybody is for 0 tolerance pro-life.
And as for support for Israel he's already not going to win BLM votes so go ahead and alienate the Hamas supporters.

im hopeful for the world at large to be at peace .. but i dont know
Im ok with day one exec orders to restore (yet again) energy production, immigration restraints etc.
the rest wont be easy - as such shouldnt be unless we can have congress return to its first function of duty.
But that would mean a unity that has been damaged beyond repair?
Could be.
Then again then again every election cycle we get a raft of campaign promises and halfway through the term wonder why they didn't happen when President X or president why didn't do them all while they had the Senate and the house and the justice department in their pocket.

Well I could probably live with most of the stuff on agenda 47. I guess it depends on how paraphrased the synopsis was. I don't think most of it is going to be easy to do realistically had a couple I disagree with. I'm fine with electric vehicle research.
I would have also like to see stronger support for israel.

Do you find MTG attractive?
Sure, she's okay. I don't think she's as pretty as Lauren Boebert, Kristie Noem, AOC, Laura Ingraham or Sarah Palin. (All graded on an age/politician curve of course)
Frankly I think Barbara Boxer was hot a few decades ago.

Jameis Winston is a Brown
in THE BROWNS BOARD
Posted
Not really talking about dorsey. Talking about stefanski Haslam et al. Also not talking about bringing in players to help him out. I'm not sure who the source of the Mayfield hostility fell in the laps of. Or why. And again it doesn't matter if the coaching staff the GM and the owner aren't happy with somebody and aren't planning on trying to resign him they must have their reasons. If the same people decided that Watson was going to be the savior of the team and we're willing to overlook the off the field stuff that's fine too. I just didn't agree with it and until something big changes I'm sitting in the catbird seat.
And again even though this isn't about Cal except for a couple of you guys I don't remember him disliking Baker? Neither do you. I think he may have preferred Josh Allen which probably would have been a better quarterback than Watson but that's life. At its apples and oranges.
Also on the rare occasion that Cal points out that he thinks he's been mistreated I tell him to put on his big boy pants. The only reason I deleted your shit is because I've asked you guys respectfully to keep the fucking politics off here if you don't have the balls to come over the political board. By the way mike, that's your job . That goes for all of you people liberals conservatives together.
