why cant we win
http://www.fox8.com/news/wjw-sns-ap-fbn--b...80.story?%3F%3F BEREA, Ohio (AP) - Browns running back Peyton Hillis has been added to Cleveland's injury report with an unspecified thigh injury. Hillis, who has rushed for more than 100 yards the past two weeks, had limited participation in Thursday's practice. Hillis apparently got hurt following the 30 minutes of practice open to reporters. Hillis has been the Browns' top offensive player through four weeks. He rushed for a career-high 144 yards two weeks ago against Baltimore, and followed that up by running for 102 to help Cleveland get its first win this season, 23-20 over Cincinnati. Hillis was not on the injury report Wednesday. The Browns acquired Hillis in March in a trade with Denver for quarterback Brady Quinn. xxxx!!!!! dawgpound3
Adam Schefter actually reported this today, it is a small muscle strain, and Hillis is not in danger for the sunday game.
TheClevelandSound
It has been reiterated throughout the football media that this injury means nothing in the spectrum of things and that he will be playing Sunday. The all caps was extremely unnecessary.

Gips
Hillis is a tuff guy but if the browns dont find a way to meaningfully lower his load a bit he is going to get hurt as in out for weeks or even the season...
TheClevelandSound
Hillis is one of those guys who is big but durable. Unlike Lewis.

LOL Hillis is not going to be around for all 16 games if our receivers don't start steping up to share the load. The "Wild Dawg" needs to be used more, open things up. All run is not going to get it done for the long haul.
USFBrown
Maybe if delhomme plays he can spread thr ball around more. It seemed Wallace targeted tight ends, especially Watson a lot and Cribbs. Here's to hope!
Canton Mike
Hillis is a tuff guy but if the browns dont find a way to meaningfully lower his load a bit he is going to get hurt as in out for weeks or even the season... Yes, tough as he is, there MUST be some relief. Mike
BrownIndian
Maybe if delhomme plays he can spread thr ball around more. It seemed Wallace targeted tight ends, especially Watson a lot and Cribbs. Here's to hope! The root problem here is not the QB's but the WR's they cannot always get open. JD brings the positives of being the sharper and more veteran but Seneca can keep the play alive longer and is a weapon with his feet. Now if we had gone and got Randy moss, then perhaps I would be more keen on seeing JD ....
