  1. Any QB needy team would have welcomed a player of Deshaun’s caliber. I don’t think there has ever been a greater need for an elite QB. Browns need a super bowl: Watson has the ability. He is also a great fit for Cleveland football. Big arm, accurate, mobile, tough. Keep the O-line healthy/add O-Line depth, feed the Chubb and Hunt.. and dominate.
  2. Call some more screens, throw to the RB out of backfield more, and hopefully get Schwartz back (only speed on offense)
  3. The offense was outmatched. Let’s not forget impact of missing a FG in opening drive. It would be nice to have Phil Dawson these days.
  4. 4 INTs and holding Baltimore to 16. Lamar 4 YPC and freeman 3.3 YPC. I’ll take that effort.
  5. Losing Conklin and Bryant also hurt the run game. While the passing attack was already compromised. The defense looked great at least. Not the year we were all expecting, but at least we still have a competitive football team.
  6. With a lot of key players coming back and Baker’s wife insisting Browns players play “tougher”… I expect a win Sunday night.
  7. McDaniels schooling our defense’s aggressiveness. The offense isn’t the same without Chubb and Hunt.
  8. Such a needed W. The focus on offense and defense, minus some penalties, was clear. The whole team looked hungry. Denzel Ward pick 6 changed the game. The secondary looks like it is coming together. Time to go on a run.
  9. Gotta tip the cap to Rudolph and his deep throw accuracy. Pitt has great receivers. We had Robert Jackson in his first career start. Jackson played well. The run game will be key. I hope we find a way to maximize Chubb’s touches in this game. I’d really like to see more screens and check downs to 24, his hands seem reliable. Hunt is a great spell but Chubb just runs by people.
  10. Congratulations to Browns fans everywhere. 🙌 The page has been turned. Cleveland in Pittsburgh next week, rematch from 2002.
  11. Lamar was making the types of plays that a typical quarterback has ZERO business making. Our defense simply isn’t equipped, in its current state, to stop such a player. Most teams can’t stop LJ. We need players like Delpit and run stopping LBs to slow down that offense. The 3rd and 10 was a good play by the offense. Good read, throw, and catch. The defense played very well last week, creating turnovers and containing Derrick Henry. Losing sucks, I get it.. especially to the Ratbirds.
  12. Tough loss. Good game. We unfortunately gave them too much time at the end. Solid effort from the offense. Defense and special teams need to tighten up, regardless of Ward being out..
  13. This Baker and the Baker who hasn’t thrown an INT in the last 5 games has grown so much since 2018, but yes, is still the same QB.
  14. Ehhh there was some dumb luck in the second half.. Mitchell strips Brown at the 2 and a Tennessee player scores from it. Sendejo FINALLY makes a play, an interception, that came back to a hit to the head from Kevin Johnson. 2 Major plays that kept Titans alive. And then Baker fumble when we probably should have been punting.
  15. Speed, Power, Shiftiness, Vision, Hands, attitude, etc. What else could you ask for?
  16. Sendejo may be the best option at FS out there. Redwine went in for a play and bounced off Watson on a blitz.. so lets hope Sendejo stays healthy...
  17. Solid bounce back from Raiders game. Baker did get lucky on a play that was batted down by D-Line , it had pick 6 written all over. He made a huge 3rd a long throw to Higgins to balance out late in the game. Running game was strong, as expected. Defense is playing smart under Joe Woods. Harrison looks like a great acquisition . We finally seem healthy at 6-3. Philly coming to Cleveland next week. LETS GO!
  18. You are not understanding. I am referring to the OFF-SEASON, before the games started. The summer months when there were no games. I am saying I would prefer key players and all players on my team to be immune to COVID. Instead of a cluster of players potentially missing a game.
  19. thanks for the speech, I’m aware of what Covid is. Over that quarantine period it would seem likely that a share players would be seeing their younger friends and bars and not likely to be traveling to their parents home to hang out. But every player’s situation is unique.
  20. I’m thinking that many players, being young and less likely to properly quarantine, would be more likely to have already have antibodies for Covid. Especially since there was about 4-5 months of pandemic before the season started. Just a guess. It would be better for a key player like a QB to have antibodies before the season started.
  21. I wonder what percentage of the population has already had the virus. I’m guessing most teams have good amounts of players that can’t even contract the virus at this point.
  22. The offense is just different with Chubb and Teller out there. Teams can’t bring #24 down easily and it opens up the PA. Hooper is a good blocker who hasn’t broke out as a receiver yet. The worse the weather gets, the better for Chubb and the run game.
