  1. 1. What's more important. A WR who can always get open or a QB who can throw a Reciever Open, or a combination of both

    • WR who can always get open
      7
    • QB who can throw them open
      3
    • It's a combination of both.

Poll asks the question. The reason for this is I feel the Browns QB's have not shown the confidence to throw the ball in areas that we see the greats do. I don't believe that Colt showed the confidence to throw the ball into space or into coverage where only our receivers can get the ball. IMO, you see QB like Rodgers, Brady, Brees do this all the time.

You kiddin ? @@

Compare the Browns' oline, with GB's, and Pats', and the Saints'.

Compare the Browns' wr's, with GB's, and Pats', and the Saints'.

Compare the Browns' rb's, with GB's, and Pats', and the Saints'.

it isn't the qb that is making the Browns' offense unable to work.

All three of those other qb's wouldn't make the Browns' offense work.

All three would find nobody open a lot of times, would get planted into the turf off the right

side rush (at least with Pashos in there), and all three wouldn't have any chance of play action working

without Hillis in the lineup.

people need to get off this QB issue. this team has buried the careers of other promising qbs coming into the league with the lack of protection and no running game.

amazing how colt looked last year when hillis was pounding the defenders and they learned they had to respect the run game. this year? ha!

I believe its a combination of both, and while our WRs are not blazing fast colt and seneca both missed both short and long windows of opportunity in order to toss dumps off to designated targets that had 2 and 3 guys on them for little to no gain or even losses of yards and both frequently looked off some big time opportunities downfield especially colt..

With that said getting a fast tough WR with good hands and a champions heart should be a major priority for this offense as well as an RT somewhere later in the draft..

Hillis isnt coming back and hardesty is looking like an injury bust so we have only oggybunga and may need a RB as well..

Three is the only real choice...

No such thing as a WR who "always gets open." It does happen, but I don't believe it's all that often precentage-wise...

There are only a couple areas of the field where QB's "throw receivers open", e.g., the outside back shoulder throws.

About every thing else is the QB throwing to an area that his WR should be able to get to before one or more defenders can arrive... and that's choice #3 in a nutshell.
