2012 Brownsboard Mock

Problem is Zombo cast his pick for Jonathan Martin first, so, officially we have to go with him, though Rieff was the big faller on this board.

Read the thread again, Commissioner Gipper.

I think the right tackle form Stanford would be looking good here, no?

Zombo

Followed immediately by...

I'm just observing, someone step in there and make a call for the ages...

Zombo

Z was campaigning for Martin and prodding someone else to make the pick... I chose Rieff instead.

Subsequently Z defended my pick...

Do you really think that if he'd chosen Martin he wouldn't have said something like "Hey, asshole, I already chose Martin at 22!"?

Hmm, OK, I guess perhaps you are right. I guess I took Zombo's comments about the tackle from Stanford as a choice. I guess I didn't read the wishy-washiness into it that is indeed there upon second reading. Its not something I expected from him. I will try to correct it.

It was just a suggestion / Observation. I was just observing the process and commenting ... I clearly encouraged someone else to make the pick.

Good pick for the Texans what with Super Mario heading to Buffalo...

With the 27th pick the New England Patriots select...

Luke Koo-Koo-KaChew-ally LB Boston College....

Guess it's the return of the regional draft...

LOL... between that and him taking it easy on me, maybe he's got a fever or someone has hacked his Admin account... :D

Guys cant hate where i picked Osweiler its a mock draft and for those hating on him being in the first round i've read just as many mocks having him goto Miami Over Tannehill at 8 so that would put him as a top ten pick he slid back into the 20s and i'll be dead honest Ben gets hurt alot and Charlie Batch ain't gonna be that guy. I don't see nothing wrong with it.

I don't think it is necessarily people complaining that he was taken in the 1st but rather that the Steelers who have zero need at QB are taking him in the first. I would be one thing if he was a top 5 or 10 guy and fell to them and they picked him up and tried to work some Aaron Rodgers magic but he is a borderline 1st/2nd rounder and the Steelers would be better off picking O-Line or Safety at this point.

I would like to run this draft process at least through the Browns #37 pick in the second round. Still to draft till then:

#31 Pats

#32 Giants

#33 Rams

#34 Colts

#35 Vikings

#36 Bucs

#37 Browns

To see who the prospects for these picks are, I suggest you consult here:

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/prospectrankings

The Pats are still on the clock

With the 34th pick the Colts select: Coby Fleener, TE, Stanford

I think this is an excellent pick for the Colts to go with young QB Andrew Luck... I'm almost jealous. ;)

Peter Konz OG/C Wisconsin

The New England Patriots are on the clock. (Note: Pats chose LB Luke Kuechly with pick #27)

Wow...

There's a fair amount of firepower there...

After taking Rieff at 22 forget Adams and Massie...

I think the D-line is set so for me it boils down to:

Take Zeitner and you set up the line for TR...

But you still need a WR and Randle is sitting there...

Hightower would work IF you move DQ to ILB...

David would work w/o having to move DQ...

I know what I'd do...

EDIT:

With the 37th pick in the 2012 draft, the cleveland browns select Ruben Randle wr from LSU.

That wasn't it... :P but at least it wasn't Weedon... ;)
