gftChris
I almost agree about BPA, regardless of position. There's nobody on this team, save Thomas, Haden and the DL that you couldn't upgrade if you tried. Maybe Gordon too, but you could get a cleaner version. Tour2ma
... you have to have a RB to at least keep the defense honest. The Colts, not unlike the Browns, have no run game to speak of. Change "RB" to "running game" in that first sentence and I am there with you... We need right side OL first pick, then QB. ... and I agree that OL is the route to the running game. This draft we need the best player available for the positions at need. Actually that's the definition of drafting for need and leads to reaching if you do not also possess the confidence to trade down and still get your needed player. A BPA draft means you take the BPA on your board regardless of need. Surprisingly, I actually think we are close to being in that circumstance. I almost agree about BPA, regardless of position. There's nobody on this team, save Thomas, Haden and the DL that you couldn't upgrade if you tried. Maybe Gordon too, but you could get a cleaner version. I think Big Phil belongs on that list. I have been so impressed with his acceptance of and performance in the NT position. However, I think there are DEs in the draft that could upgrade our play there.
