Under the Radar QB's

Post your under the radar mid to late round QB's here who you think are the hidden gem of the draft. My pick is Keith Wenning. He has all the ability you want and he got consistantly better all 4 years he started with the Ball State Cardnials. On top of everything he is an Ohio guy from Coldwater, OH. Heres and article about him and how he is doing in the East West Shine Practices.

For me it would depend on who we hire as coach and what offense we end up running

For a traditional pro style/AFC North qb I like Tom Savage out of Pitt

If they go for Johnny football and look more hybrid Malzahnish offense...Brett Smith-Wyoming adds depth

We played Coldwater in the D4 high school playoffs in 2006. Team is legit.... Southern town with some strong kids. I swear they were all juicing though.

I like Jimmy Garoppolo. Dude looks legit although I haven't see him play any big games yet....

He's playing today in the city I lived in for two years at 4pm (St. Petersburg FL, which has one of the best browns backers clubs ever!!!!), So I look forward to watching him play.

Tyler Russell (Miss. St.) was one of my pre-season picks to watch. He lost essentially his entire Sr. year to injury and just underwent surgery in mid-December (Dr. Andrews) to repair a torn labrum in his throwing shoulder.

I had the same surgery a few years ago. If the surgery was arthroscopic, as mine was, then recovery is very fast... weeks not months.

He's a good size kid who had a nice arm. I thought he showed promise as a Junior. He'd be worth a look as an UFA for practice squad development.

Conner Shaw. His coach says he's the best running qb he's ever coached, and that's Steve Spurrier,

who's been around.

He also says he can throw the throws.

He'd be a great backup one of these days. Certainly can play under pressure and make plays if he has the chance.
