Yes, it's far out, and silly, and requires suspension of belief. But it happened, and from a historical perspective it is fun to dream that it could happen again. 98 Rams were 4-12 and all they really had on offfense was a Left tackle, Pace and a star WR, Bruce. (Thomas, Gordon) 99 Draft that grabbed a WR in the top ten, Holt (Watkins) They promoted a life long backup at QB, Warner (Hoyer) And they added a great all-purpose back, Falk (Mason ... or pick your favorite back in the draft) Actually Faulk was an established veteran they traded for, so maybe we should trade for a Ryan Matthews, Matt Forte etc ...Anybody good threatening to hold out? Unless Shanahan is the 2nd coming, that isn't going to happen for us next year even if we had the next Kurt Warner and those ridiculous receivers.
