Clippers owner with racist comments contributed to only Dems

Update: An earlier version of this post identified Sterling as a Democrat. Although his political donations appear to have been exclusively to Democrats, a search of the L.A. County Registrar/Record confirms that he is a registered Republican. A Clippers representative did not respond to requests for comment.

if I may quote woody here...LOL

I had no idea what his political contributions were but this story is a fucking riot anyway. Despicable on so many different levels.

First I wondered what kind of shit house whore would be his girlfriend in the first place?

And those big time awards from the NAACP? Man they look like idiots now.

Too bad my old pal Heck isn't here for this one.

In this instance Steve I was finding humor in the right frantically calling him a democrat....

... only for his last financial contributions to the Dem party to have occurred 20 years ago

... and with him being a registered Republican.

But the stuff you said is funny too. The while thing is pretty humorous.

Yea Steve, that was the link Cal posted. Read the bottom "update" section. Also the dates on the contributions.

which is why I posted it again. Apparently you hadn't read that update. if you recall even though he is a registered Republican, or was, his only, and very sizeable, contributions have been to the Democrat. Not to mention the fact that the Lifetime Achievement Award from the NAACP was most certainly for work in the Republican Party correct?

but I don't think it makes any difference.

Can the Clippers shut the fuck up and just play basketball? Same with the Heat. If I was the owner of the Heat I'd fine everyone of those players that dropped their warmup at halfcourt the other night.

Want to really show some solidarity and moral high-ground??? Stop cashing Sterling's racist paychecks you hypocritical fucks.

I can't really tell if I'm so fed up with the national race to be offended the first and most that I'm enjoying it, or what is actually happening.

He registered as a rep in the late 1990s

His contributions to the dem party were in the early 1990s.

Can the NAACP not honor Republicans?

Sure they can woody. I bet it happens all the time. ;)

Listen all I'm saying is that they are a pretty liberal organization and as we know 98 percent of blacks voted for Obama.

(remember who makes up the NAACP) Also, and I'm not necessarily defending the guy but, he never used the N word or anything like that in his speech.

It actually seems more like he didn't want her to hang out with the brothers like they were boyfriends in public. I mean he's paying this bitch millions to be his girlfriend, which is creepy enough, but he doesn't want her bringing one to a game. He actually told her she could fuck them in private just keep it out of the public eye.

And not to mention the double standard but can anyone imagine the fire storm had someone like Toby Keith rattled off a slew of hate speech like Snoop Dogg?

And well I certainly understand that an organization has the right to police itself because their profits rely on public opinion it seems a little un american to consider stripping a man of his business because he says something we don't like.

I'm sure plenty of basketball players have said some foul shit in their lives. What do you suppose what happened if the NBA banned them from the sport?

There are plenty of democrats who registered as Republicans so they

could vote in the rep primaries.

No sense registering as a dem, they knew ObaMao was going to run again.

You are free to say whatever you want. No one stifled his speech or any of that.

You are not free from consequences though. When you make racist comments as an owner of a team in a league that is mostly black, there is gonna be backlash.

Also does it really matter, he register in 1998 as republican but never supported financially(that we know of), and donated to dems the last time in 1992(?). If someone with that amount of money really supported either side he would have spent more money or been more outspoken in the last 20yrs....

Sorry, she looks like she sleeps with her head in a beehive, and he looks like he requests the "burn victim" when he visits the plastic surgeon. Gives a great insight on how shitty they are on the inside when the cover of the book is so fucking terrible.

I could give fuck all about what either of these dregs have to say about race, or the weather.

Cliven Bundy who?

Good timing for you guys, huh?

"You guys"? I thought you once said that you were impartial. You can never keep that lying disingenous liberal inside you caged up woody.

Anyway, we guys still got a long way to go to catch up with the racial bigotry that "you guys" spew.

Your homework is do decide what punishment each of these deserve, you whiny little libtard.

There is no evidence that tea party adherents are any more racist than other Republicans, and indeed many other Americans. But getting them to spend their time purging their ranks and having candidates distance themselves should help Democrats win in November. Having one’s opponent rebut charges of racism is far better than discussing joblessness." -- Mary Frances Berry, former Chairwoman, US Commission on Civil Rights

10) “Well, because the Arabs who were involved in 9/11 cooperated with the Zionists, actually. It was a cooperation. They gave them the perfect excuse to denounce all Arabs. "I think one man is just as good as another so long as he's not a n*gger or a Chinaman. Uncle Will says that the Lord made a White man from dust, a n*gger from mud, then He threw up what was left and it came down a Chinaman. He does hate Chinese and Japs. So do I. When Colin Powell dares to suggest something other than what the master wants to hear, he will be turned back out to pasture." -- Harry Belafonte
