Just sent a pm to The Gipper

Looks like my late 3rd round compensatory pick for the Patriots just might be better than thought here.

He just got invited to attend draft night in Chicago and is now moving back into the 1st rd category. Rehab appears to be going well from bowl game knee injury.

Gipper picks next 2 ........

That came up quick.....I will be posting in a few minutes after I do my checking on needs and availabilities.

OK...having picked an OG in round 2, the Panthers still need to shore up that line:

The Carolina Panthers select: Austin Shepard OT Alabama.

The same philosophy applies to the Bucs as to the Panthers. Need to shore up an OL that will protect a hopefully franchise QB.

In this case, having taken Winston #1 overall, I am going to bring him not only OL protection, but someone he should be highly comfortable with: an FSU teammate:

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers select: OG Josue Matias Florida State

Try again Gipper-he done gone in the 3rd rd.

3.28. Broncos (miktoxic): Josue Matias, OG, Florida State

No sin since I have already done the same. LOL!

PS-bet you a donut that Shepard is converted to OG.

What I am looking at for my ratings...CBS Sports or NFLDraftscouting.com has Shepard as an OT...I had already picked an OG for Carolina AJ Cann. So, yea, I have him at OT.

I guess the best I can say is that he may be versatile.

And draftek rates him pretty highly as a convert to guard.

And a little less so as a RT

So yes, another versatile OLineman.

Living in N.C. and watching Browns over Panther games. GM Dave Gedelman can use you in his war room for the Panthers. You got it right throughout.. Now Can You get a pissed off S. Smith out of our division,please..

Someone post the top 10 best available.

WTF happened to you? It was your turn, you posted....but you asked everyone else to do your research for you. Why didn't you just ask out and let someone else handle the pick if you were going to back out for 4 hours.

Calm down. People had been posting it throughout the draft, they just hadn't in several picks.

JJmac, thanks.

We'll take Cedric Reed, DT, tu. see y'all in the Super Bowl.

LOL! Now that there is funny. Ask someone to post a list, disappear, and then pick someone not on the list. Next time just make your pick (or else I give you a bad kicker). :P

PS-Reed is listed as a DE, not a DT.

LCDawgFan13 (Colts) now on the clock and pm going to him now.

LCDawg has until 12.30PM ET

2 weeks to complete 2 rounds and a few picks...can we do it ?

When we get to Wed of next week I say we take mik's suggestion and go to every 4 hours (except after 12pm est) per pick and have 3-4 people designated to make choices for those not getting in within 4 hours. Then I think we can easily get through all 7 rounds.

In fact we could ask those 3-4 to check every 4 hours from 8am to midnight every day to see what is going on to include pm's to pickers up next.

My pick is coming up at #30 in the fifth round. Since the Broncos and Colts still have to go, I'll give three options.

1. Ramik Wilson, ILB, Georgia

2. Javorious Allen, RB, USC

3. Laurence Gibson, OT, Virginia

Give me the highest player left of the three above once it's the Packers turn.
