I understand the opposing argument...if allowed to wait till they're 18, the physical changes are likely permanent. Like for men they would get permanent virilization of the vocal cords. Most people who did eventually get sex changes wished they would have done it before maturity. However...being able to do that without parental consent? Yeah that has major lawsuit written all over it. and this isn't like a nose job either, that's major surgery.
