Take a cheap unknown who has already been dropped for a known reliable but more expensive receiver. Yeah, makes cents. :P

I think I'm starting to understand moneyball. :lol:B)

It only gets better AG. Out 2013 season with foot surgery. Did not participate in 16 combine due to the dreaded Hamstring injury of course. All stats from his Pro Day (surly rigged) ;)

I believe that one of the draftees is replacing Hartline. The guy they just signed is there to fill the spot of the low man on the totem pole as the WR depth chart shifted.

Just sifting through the rubble... nothing more...

Yup. picking up FAs that have already been dropped by other teams. Next step- open tryouts. If you can run a 4.4, we'll see what else you can do.

Don't see him making the 53; but, who knows. Not even sure why they brought him in. Must have been a scout who liked him coming out of college or something.

Look at his 2015 stats. Richards sounds like a dink & dunk specialist. 3 of his games they have him with 11 13 & 1 game 17 receptions for 177 yards. I think coaches know what they are looking for with our 3 QB's that are not deep ball experts.. Only receiver am counting in is Coleman. The rest, nothing will surprise me..

I will always remember fondly the David Richards thread and how I doomed his Browns career.

This kicker sounds like finally some real competition for Coon Dawg.

Murray, who participated in the Browns minicamp this week on a tryout basis, is 5-7, 182 pounds and in his third NFL season out of Fordham. Originally signed by Tampa Bay as an undrafted free agent in 2014, Murray appeared in 16 games with the Buccaneers as a rookie. He converted 20 of 24 field goal attempts and all 31 PATs for 91 points. He spent last season on injured reserve and was waived by Tampa Bay on May 16, 2016. A native of Mahwah, N.J., Murray graduated from Don Bosco Preparatory High School.

Dude is puny though.

David Richards was with us during our trials of life. Rest assured though he lives in our memory and will always be remembered as that speed receiver that split opposing defenses winning the hearts of us fans. Good luck David Richards thank you for your undevoted service and even though you didn't win any games, you'll always be a champion to us.

God bless.

In his lone TB season, excepting the 0-19 yard range where he had no attempts, he missed one kick in each of the ten-yard segments that Kicker stats are broken into... weird...
