WPB Dawg Fan
OK, so tomorrow is draft day. Let's see who is the REAL DRAFT GURU!!! Here is how it works. You chose your top 10 in the order that you think they will go. 1pt: Chosen player goes IN THE TOP 10 YOU PREDICTED 1pt: Chosen player goes AT THE SLOT YOU PREDICTED 1pt: Chosen player goes TO THE TEAM YOU PREDICTED so, if you chose Stafford at #1 to the Lions...and he goes there...you get 3pts. If he goes at #1 to the Redskins you get 2pts. If he goes at #8 to the Jags you get 1pt. Tie Breakers: 1. Most COMPLETELY CORRECT picks (team and slot) 2. Most TOP TEN picks If it is tied after that...oh well, it's a tie. May the best DRAFT GURU win!!!

damajuki
#1 Detroit Lions - Matthew Stafford #2 St.L Rams - Jason Smith #3 KC Chiefs - Aaron Curry #4 Denver Broncos - Mark Sanchez #5 Cleveland Browns - Brian Orakpo (previously Michael Crabtree) #6 Cincinnati Bengals - Andre Smith #7 Oakland Raiders - Michael Crabtree (previously Jeremy Maclin) #8 Jacksonville Jaguars - Eugene Monroe #9 GB Packers - BJ Raji #10 SF 49ers - Michael Oher I think Denver is serious but the silence from Seattle makes me nervous. I think Denver believes we'd hold Sanchez hostage and they get a better asking price from the Seahawks. We go BPA and though ManKok isn't thrilled about it, we take Crabtree and keep talking to the Giants as 29 gets closer. The Raiders go for speed and the Jags go for BPA, happy to see Monroe drop in their laps. The Packers also get a gift with Raji dropping to 9. EDIT: Upon further review, I just can't talk myself into REALLY believing ManKok takes Crabtree given the negative press this week (and all our other WR visits this week). And because I also can't talk myself into believing Tyson Jackson is a top 5 pick, that only leaves Orakpo in my mind. As scary as it is to try to project a DE to OLB and as scary as the ghost of Vernon is, the reality is that our defense is dying for a pass rush and Orakpo is the best chance for an instant pass rush at the top of the draft. This is the only pick that really makes sense to me, even with the inherent risk. Despite the latest report about Denver's supposedly fake interest in Sanchez, I still think they want him and move up to get him. Even if they don't, however, I think it's possible the Seahawks take him in that spot regardless. If we don't take Crabtree, he's a natural in Oakland. Brash playmaker, top WR, potential dickhead...sounds like a Raidah to me.
