Tour2ma
Make's sense... If "multiple violations of the league's substance abuse policy" are forgiven in Smith's case, then one violation (or is it two) should be as well. Make that one (or two) plus the alcohol thing... The Gipper
I think Leveon Bell had more than both of them...and they let him off light.

DieHardBrownsFan
This Gordon love is confusing. The guy quit on us when he did play is last games, and then turned up positive yet again. Fuck him. Forever.
Mark O
I was hoping this meant we were signing Jeff Gordon to get our guys to the practice field quicker.

PoeticG
We never cut Josh Gordon. Hue knew that Gordon was lost for the season. He was focused on the players that were available and asked that the media move on from the Josh Gordon questions. That is all. Hue was adamant that Gordon had been a 5 star players in the locker room and on the practice field. He'll be on the team. Look guys, hate Gordon all you want... but the fact remains that Gordon's situation and his punishments have been EXTREMELY blown out of proportion. He is a victim of very bad luck or timing... or both, but that is all. He's a game changer and he and Pryor will be league leaders in receiving from Browns Offensive rookie of the year: Mitch Trubisky.
D Bone
Puffy has been away from the game for far too long. While other players were getting better and crafting their skills at their athletic prime, puffy has been stagnant and deteriorating..... Nothing more to see here. Maybe there's a local flag football league he can join?

The commissioner for the Saturday Flag Football League put out a statement. "That was really uncool of Josh. All he had to do was ask."

jiggins7919
Gordon remains a mystery. Anybody on this board that has either personally struggled with addiction or knows somebody who has, knows that true recovery can begin at any time. Some people manage to get it right the first time, but most don't. There are some people who NEVER figure out how to remain sober, and that's a tragedy. We will never truly know what is going on in someone's life, and who knows? Maybe Gordon has finally figured out what works for him, and he has it under control? I'd say the odds are definitely against it, but it's not impossible.

The Gipper
I was hoping this meant we were signing Jeff Gordon to get our guys to the practice field quicker. I thought they meant that we were signing Commissioner Gordon and that he would bring the Bat Signal with him!

He is a fucking IDIOT!!!! and so are YOU!! I think only 1 or 2 failed tests. Like I said, Leveon Bell had as many or more, yet they let him back onto the field after only a very short suspension. Inequity? Seems that way, don't it?
jrb12711
How many times can you be let down by someone before you give up? If this clown somehow gets another chance, he better be a fringe roster spot who works his way up from ST duties for the first 8-10 games. It becomes a strong waste of resources to run the dude with the 1's to just bail, yet again.

domcucch1994
Hopefully Gordon comes back and doesn't fuck up but I am not betting on it happening in our lifetime... Dude is an idiot. He can make all the money he wants, be a star on the field, and smoke reefer when he retires in his mid 30s. Who wouldn't want that!?

jcam222
I think th fact we've heard very little about Josh since the suspension is good. I'm a homer through and through but I think he may just still have another pro bowl season as a Brown. Paint me poeticg I guess
jiggins7919
I'm not sure how many more lives a player can get, but here's to hoping Josh gets one more.
Tour2ma
JG's "silence" would be reason for optimism, if he had not also been silent last year before suddenly checking into rehab.
