Make's sense...

If "multiple violations of the league's substance abuse policy" are forgiven in Smith's case, then one violation (or is it two) should be as well.

Make that one (or two) plus the alcohol thing...

We never cut Josh Gordon.

Hue knew that Gordon was lost for the season. He was focused on the players that were available and asked that the media move on from the Josh Gordon questions. That is all. Hue was adamant that Gordon had been a 5 star players in the locker room and on the practice field. He'll be on the team.

Look guys, hate Gordon all you want... but the fact remains that Gordon's situation and his punishments have been EXTREMELY blown out of proportion. He is a victim of very bad luck or timing... or both, but that is all.

He's a game changer and he and Pryor will be league leaders in receiving from Browns Offensive rookie of the year: Mitch Trubisky.

Puffy has been away from the game for far too long. While other players were getting better and crafting their skills at their athletic prime, puffy has been stagnant and deteriorating..... Nothing more to see here.

Maybe there's a local flag football league he can join?

"Breaking News: Josh Gordon suspended for 4 games due to smoking everyone's weed. The commissioner for the Saturday Flag Football League put out a statement. "That was really uncool of Josh. All he had to do was ask."

Gordon remains a mystery. Anybody on this board that has either personally struggled with addiction or knows somebody who has, knows that true recovery can begin at any time. Some people manage to get it right the first time, but most don't. There are some people who NEVER figure out how to remain sober, and that's a tragedy. We will never truly know what is going on in someone's life, and who knows? Maybe Gordon has finally figured out what works for him, and he has it under control? I'd say the odds are definitely against it, but it's not impossible.

I think only 1 or 2 failed tests. Like I said, Leveon Bell had as many or more, yet they let him back onto the field after only a very short suspension.

Inequity? Seems that way, don't it?

How many times can you be let down by someone before you give up?

If this clown somehow gets another chance, he better be a fringe roster spot who works his way up from ST duties for the first 8-10 games. It becomes a strong waste of resources to run the dude with the 1's to just bail, yet again.

He's a victim of his own stupidity. He's had way more chances then he deserves.
