But after watching two different tape breakdowns of his crappy play against the Jets, all doubt is removed. Baker was perfectly fine with the same line. Buffalo went to the playoffs in spite of BlowRod, not because of him. Don't be surprised if he falls to # 5 on the depth charts, the toilet. He's on the final year of his contract Tom. We can let him leave as a FA next year with no further cap hit. Remains to be seen what he can get on the open market. It certainly won't be the $16 million were paying him to be the most expensive backup QB in the NFL. BTW, his flaws were duly noted before the season started. Tends to hold onto the ball too long (hence the sacks) and won't take chances to avoid interceptions. For whatever reason, he only showed flashes of the decisive, on-time thrower we saw in preseason... when there was no pressure. That was the difference between he and Baker.
