It is amazing Mah Nikka, There is about 400,000 pounds of bullschidt posts blasting me for calling Tyrod just another run-first,  Black Tarkenton who not only would stink, but would get hurt early on because his run-first dullard of a brain would have him getting hit when he should have thrown the ball. This guy was so obvious total crap that I swear to you I believed the only reason he got support on TBB is because the guys were running a parody. You called ryor getting hurt by week 4, I believe. THe dumb bastard didn't even get that far.

:) He was running for his life but he wasn't really running, got hurt on a sack. He didn't win those games in Buffalo by accident. His stats with the Bills suggested he was a slightly above average qb. Some of us were willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. But after watching two different tape breakdowns of his crappy play against the Jets, all doubt is removed. Welcome to backup status Tyrod- like you were with the Ravens, you won't get hurt, and it pays well.

Fine, BUT................he wasn't running for his life because of the O line. Baker was perfectly fine with the same line. Buffalo went to the playoffs in spite of BlowRod, not because of him. Don't be surprised if he falls to # 5 on the depth charts, the toilet.

He's on the final year of his contract Tom. We can let him leave as a FA next year with no further cap hit. Remains to be seen what he can get on the open market.  It certainly won't be the $16 million were paying him to be the most expensive backup QB in the NFL.  :)

BTW, his flaws were duly noted before the season started. Tends to hold onto the ball too long (hence the sacks) and won't take chances to avoid interceptions. Didn't realize below average arm- cost us a couple TDs when he underthrew Gordon and Callaway that would have been certain touchdowns.

Don't be surprised if TT is ever called on again by us that he plays better... the pressure is now off him.

For whatever reason, he only showed flashes of the decisive, on-time thrower we saw in preseason... when there was no pressure. That was the difference between he and Baker. That was why he turned into a runner all too often.
