So they huffpo, and left-wing rag oh, well electronic rag, has a headline that states Trump is a laughing stock and I'm wondering for what? I understand that it's hip to hate the guy and it makes a lot of second-rate European countries feel better about themselves but honestly I don't see wines of people trying to get in to Mexico or Honduras or Cuba or even Western Europe unless they are completely destitute.

And no the huffpo isn't the only Electro rag that likes to write bombastic headlines. Almost like making fun of the Kardashians looks but you know you'd bang any of them and brag about it for the rest of your life.

I am sure Trump doing whatever he can in putting this country's interests first is not the way to " win friends and influence people" with some other countries who like the one sided trade deals that favor their country or Trump cutting off aid to some countries that hate us anyway, or his insisting NATO allies pay their fair share of the costs.

I was always more concerned about past presidents who were "too well liked" by the United Nations such as Bill Clinton and Barak Obama.

I think the point is that polls don't mean as much as we would like them to.

For a lot of reasons. Frankly I didn't like the polls that said Hillary is going to win by 25%. Fortunately for me and the United States of America those poles were garbage.

I I've seen polls that say Trump is going to sweep 2020 like Sherman through Georgia.

Not sure I bet my life savings on it.

So the Europeans don't love us as much? Luckily they still allow us to support them. But of course which advisor gets the love? The guy that says exercise everyday quit smoking and drinking work hard and save your money or the guy that says don't worry about it you can get high everyday drunk every night and blow your cash on hookers and poker. Don't put them all under the same umbrella. Eastern EU countries got a ton of crap from their peers from refusing to accept any of the Syrian refugees. Coincidentally. you don't hear about them dealing with truck attacks.

A  troll is what DH does...   quite well at times, not so good at other times.

To be honest just being lazy with copying and pasting the headlines. But why not get by the headlines and go into the substance and debate what is said in the article itself? I post the threads for debate topics. I really don't know what you are expecting on a political comment board? And I don't take it that seriously because lets face it we aren't going to change the world with what we post here.

Hmmm Western Europe you say? Yeah, I guess there are a lot of completely destitute middle easterners trying to get into all those countries. I also suspect a lot of similar people just stay in Mexico who come from other dangerous areas in central America.

Cuba-just the transients off the authorized cruise ships.🤣 Che was the most famous of all transplants to Cuba, but then he went back to S. America and got himself hunted down. What a shame.😇
