In his case he made some tweets a few years ago he apologized for and said he is not the same person today he was then. Why shouldn't that be enough? The title of the thread is "thought crime at the oscars" and even if this guy had not made his public tweets I think we have gotten to the point today where a person cannot even hold a biblical position that homosexuality is wrong without facing consequences and repercussions. I see it already in the military where a chaplain better toe the PC line and forget what the bible says about homosexuality or face consequences. Actually Cleve if someone said that about a son and a bible etc...and sincerely apologized and said they were not the same person who originally said the comments I would forgive them, let it go and go on....that is what Kevin Hart said about his comments. He apologized and said he was a different person today. I would think the gay community would respect that instead of always wanting to extract a pound of flesh for any offense against them.. I was infuriated that adrian peterson lost a year of his professioal life for disciplining his kid over some real shit.
