I like some of the drafts.  I think Cleveland has a biased Big 10 slant.  It's good, but not knowing who else was available it obvious that person only follows the Big 10.  Then again, maybe those were the only good picks.  I do like Willie Gay in round 4, though he probably goes earlier than that, but hey, he was there in this draft, so good pick.

I just don't think the Winfield pick in round 2 could have possibly been the best choice.  Seems like a needs choice to me, and I am not big on needs selecting in the draft.  But, that's me.  I only care about the Browns in the NFL.  I kind of follow the Titans, Falcons, and Bucs for various connective reasons, but it is mild.

I did the Browns....just  BPA.....but yes, need was taken into consideration, absolutely.  I didn't go for the likes of QB, RB, top line WR....that would not make sense as we don't need those.   We need a LT, safety, LB.

Even though I enjoy watching the draft every year, I try not to get high hopes on a player that may be available during the Browns selection. There are surprises at times when a player drops lower than most annalists predict. I can remember back when Brady Quinn was supposed to be a hot pick, but he was picked over and ended up with the Browns anyway.

Not really an award here, but just a really solid draft to which my eye kept going back. Just looks like it fits and helps the team...

Welcome more reviews/comments on  which teams had the best/worst drafts.

Just a couple of notes:

Minnesota and Miami tied for having the most picks:    14;  NE  and Jax each had 13; Denver had 11,  Green Bay and NYG  10 each.

Kansas City, New Orleans, and Buffalo only had 5 picks each.  6 other teams had 6.

The Browns had the "normal" allotment of 7 picks.

Carolina:  Rd. 1 Isaiah Simmons LB  Clemson; Ross Blacklock  DT TCU;   Jeremy Chinn  S  No.  Illinois;  Round 4  Jalen Hurts QB  Oklahoma;   John Simpson  OG Clemson;   Round 5  Essang Bassey  CB  Wake Forest;  Leki Fotu  DT  Utah;   Round  7Josiah DeGuara  TE Cincinnati

This is a great draft to me.
Top 4 all could contribute in some ways right away.  Fotu and DeGuara nice value at the end

One of my favorite picks you made for the Browns was your second 3rd round pick OG/C Robert Hunt from Louisiana.  The 2 draft guides I bought have him ranked #1 and #4 at OG and he could play Center if necessary... While the position doesn't always excite fans in the draft - we've sure learned how important it is (and sometimes the hard way).

A month ago, I would have thought you nailed your 1st pick.  Today, I wonder if you had better options at #10.  That said, he's currently PFF's highest rated Tackle (source: PFF Draft Simulator).  A little bit of gravy on it for you - he shined at the Underwear Olympics in Indy.  Last but not least, he comes from the program our former OL Coach (Kirk Ferentz) has developed and prepared so many OL prospects for successful NFL careers.  We had a couple of them join us as FAs (Eric Steinbach and Ross Verba).  The trend gives me a strong impression his OL have been taught well enough to adapt and/or play up to 2 or 3 different positions.

FWIW, I liked your other 2 Big 10 picks Winfield and Harrison.  I could even see Winfield in extra DB packages covering the slot.  If we have any injuries to our starting corners, he has the flexibility to fill-in and succeed there as well.  Just as we like OL to have the flexibility to play more than 1 position - the same applies to DBs.

Not a bad draft IMO.  If I would have known the Corona Virus would have freed up time - I would have participated.   Thank you for doing the draft for the board.   Looks like everyone had fun and did a nice job representing the teams they were responsible for...

In perusing  the picks made on our Mock for the teams in the AFCN.........other than Joe Burrow  QB  Cincinnati.....   I do not see where we hit on any other single player with out mock for the Browns, Bengals, Ravens or Steelers.

I did not really check the other teams.  If you drafted for someone maybe you can check.

Well my next to last just for grins pick of Kendrick Rogers WR Tx A&M signed a UDFA contract with Dallas. That is a good place for him to have a real shot with his 6'4" length and 4.51 speed. I really knew he would be undrafted, but it was fun to have Denver take him just before Mr. Irrelevant. Ironic how well Denver did for their franchise QB getting Alabama WR Jerry Jeudy falling to them and then a great draft to follow.
