Texas opened back up May 1. Two weeks out the count was 43,851 cases with 1,216 deaths on May 14. May 30 it was 62,338 with 1,648 deaths all in 16 days after the two week incubation time. That is a total of 18,487 new cases with 432 new death in that very short time period when compared to overall totals up until then. Not very pretty and watching people out and about now it is going to get even worse..

Georgia opened back up the same day and in that same 16 days from the 14th to the 30th went up about 450 deaths and overall cases near 10,000 cases with some screwy ways of counting cases. But deaths matched Texas. Harder to hide than new cases.

Don't go where you don't have to go and/or keep your mask on. This thing is not done.

I'm just going to say this. I know it won't get through to you morons, but I'll give it a go. 

I don't fear for my own safety from this virus. I'm young and healthy enough that it shouldn't be that big of an issue. I'd love to have things completely open up, namely sports leagues. I've been going to work every day throughout this. 

I'm more concerned for the health of my grandma, my father who's had a few surgeries, etc. Old, overweight folk singers.

That's why myself and others are wearing masks and generally just being decent human beings. Having any kind of ability to think about someone else other than yourself. Having any kind of ability to not think in black and white. I understand most of you lack the mental capacity to do that but Christ. Amazing to me that those that ass ache the most about masks and lockdowns are those fall fall in the group's these measures are trying to protect. Honestly, at this point, IDC, everyone that's just completely ignoring COVID can get it. The guy that's making a "no masks allowed" bar, fuck em. They get whatever's coming to them. But unfortunately their idiocy effects everyone.

I posted this information to assist those who are trying to protect the vulnerable that they may have contact with whether known or unknown to you. If you are buying the uninformed trumpy multiple diversionary lines, then you are still watching the shells and not the pea which is 100,000+ and going up. Everything else is the magician's trick and it is dangerous for the vulnerable in our country. If you are still trying to protect others, then good for you. You would be a fool to stop now when it is still happening regardless of what the official line may be day to day.

And just to be very clear I would rather have cures and vaccinations that renew his presidency than what is still happening now. I'm sure you all know how distasteful him winning another term is to me, but this thing is worse by far. Keep those around you safe the best you know how.

You can take a look at the latest stats- takes around 10 seconds to get them.  Sorry President Lysol- it isn't "just going away". Not anytime soon.  The number of new cases and deaths has flattened, but it's not anywhere near the point "business as usual folks."
