Garrett best player?

Was just listening to Stefs press conference and he called Myles Garrett the best player on the team.

Not here to debate that, but thoughts on a coach publicly calling one of his players the best.

Truth teller that is stating the obvious.  And the locker room knows it too.

Id probably draw the line and not make that kind of statement in Pop Warner  Middle School and High School.   Let the parents argue that point

We should send him that as a Halloween gift. Only costs about $40 for hat and coat.😂

And to think some of us homers were thinking Mitch Trubisky instead of Myles.  It's good to be dead wrong sometimes.   :)

Barring serious injury Garrett is headed for a long an illustrious multi Pro Bowl career.  Mitch? Long and nondescript career backup gig.

Trib is getting alot of apologies this week after his critics are seeing how Nagy is handling Fields.

I think Trib will get another starting opportunity,  sitting in Buf for a year only helps him.

His roughly 13 career college starts scared the bejesus out of me, and with the Bears perpetually searching for Sid Luckman's replacement, they started Trubisky right off the bat.

It's so freakin' nice to finally find a QB that should be around for years to come.

To be the single season sack leader for the Browns, Garrett will need to best Bill Glass's 1965 season. While sacks became an official stat only in 1982, researchers have gone back and updated sack totals from before then, and as of now, Bill Glass is the holder of the Browns top sack total in a season with 16.5.

Garrett is by far the best Browns athlete.  It's really not close.  It takes a pretty ridiculous human to actually be substantially better than a bunch of other guys who are near the top of "NFL athlete" level.

And I'm not sure how you'd realistically try to compare different positions -- Ward to OBJ for example.  Both are valuable at what they do.

If you thought this thread's topic was a serious question... you don't know Garrett.

Garrett is the best at his assignment: hitting the QB. Hell, he even hit a QB with a helmet!

... Too soon?
