It's looking like 1989 in the old AFC Central.

Here's hoping they've figured out a few new offensive schemes during the BYE.

Put Chubb & Hunt on the field at the same time. T formation or Hunt in the slot.

That and shorten Mayfields dropback...

I'm curious what having Hunt split in a slot typically reserved for Landry (slot or Z) accomplishes beside having both backs on the field?

Not a lot take last week for instance Landry was on the field for 93% of the snaps.

But we used to split out Hilliard and throw to him on the perimeter.

Im for any strategy that maximizes the use of our three headed backfield monster…maybe play design to Landry on third downs and more playaction to our TEs

Well my simple take is the Browns' cabinet of playmakers isn't very full.

Landry is great at what he does, maybe not up to his standards this year due to injury. I think in a few formations he'd be fine split wide like a traditional WR.

The Browns need to do something to score points. Better execution of their base offense is an obvious answer, but when guys like Schwartz & Higgins can't be counted on, and the Stefanski-preferred 3 tight end looks aren't an option presently (Bryant out), they've got to spice it up some other way.

I'd be shocked if they do the same old/same old vs the Ratbirds two games in a row.

The BROWNS' just have to play the next game ahead of them one game at a time.

Simple but true.

Call some more screens, throw to the RB out of backfield more, and hopefully get Schwartz back (only speed on offense)

I've been saying this forever.. I want to see more Flare passes and wheel routs... They can be dangerous when used properly...

Seeing as how Kareem in the slot limits his best ability (downhill, 1 cut running)  Might I instead suggest he start off as the lead back?

Chubbs ankle was still clearly bothering him a bit last game.  A few of those cross center cutbacks, which he hit homeruns on last year, he missed in the previous game.   Meanwhile Hunt had some good yardage with fresh looking legs on those weakside zones.

I would suggest Kareem get this offense going then Chubb come in as our closer.   This would also play into the ball-action game.  The Ravens setup to take away the outside zone and the bootlegs that come with it.  If this team is going to work off play fakes, it needs to be done between the 2-6 hole.  The waggles and zone stretch need to take a back seat if we get the same looks as last time.

In this crazy year it might..... BROWNS initially a SB 56 contender......to out of it...... but hold on...... now still an AFCN possibility again.

BUT they better win next time out.    And it's kinda like that in the AFC and NFC this year.

GO BROWNS,  just win...... baby !

What a story it would be if the Browns balled out and pulled it off... Never say never...

There needs to be a rule about fans that gave up and started talking draft picks.

Nothing over the top, just like a fiery death and ass cancer. Not in that order.

Z

We need to draft a WR...win, lose or draw.
