michigan under investigation

syd

Recommended Posts

Less than a week after being upset in the College Football Playoff semifinal, Michigan has more bad news incoming.

Multiple sources told Sports Illustrated that Michigan football is under an NCAA investigation and that charges are expected soon. One of the potential rules violations includes a Level I violation on coach Jim Harbaugh after he allegedly didn’t cooperate with investigators, per Yahoo! Sports’s Dan Wetzel.

While the nature of the alleged violations was not divulged (Yahoo! Sports reported that were four Level II violations being investigated), there is no indication that the case involves severe allegations of misconduct. Among the possible paths of resolving the case short of a Committee on Infractions hearing is a negotiated resolution, in which the school and NCAA Enforcement agree on both the violations and their classification (Level I, II, III or IV, with Level I being the most serious). A negotiated resolution would expedite a finalizing of the case.

"the reason Jim got a Level One, apparently, is because two committed recruits stopped by during COVID for an impromptu visit and he took them to the Brown Jug for a Jug burger in the morning. They found a receipt, but I guess he wasn't completely honest about it."

Oh, how typical to focus on the tattoos and forget the part where Tressel knew he was playing ineligible players and then actively lied to the NCAA about it. Definitely the same thing. Great job.

Oh yes the ..... " 'tats for brats and trinkets for cash"  dreaded  :o. tattoo incident  dreaded, really ?   And   led by that major big spoiled  brat Pryor (oh,  how long did his professional career last ?).   What a totally blown out of proportion deal that turned out to be.  Some kids trying to grab some easy fast cash and free tattoos and someone else paying the price for it.   What total brats !

I'm so glad that this whole deal is long over and dead and buried.    Thank goodness.   But conveniently dug back up out of the muck for whatever reason.

I'm quite sure the current Michigan deal has nothing whatsoever to with what happened about 25 years ago.    Just sayin'.

It was chicken shit and only the Ann Arbor cult thought differently.

Now that your college is under investigation, watch Hairball jump ship to the NFL. 🤣😂🤡

When the going gets tough…the tough gets going to the NFL!

What a poor take. Your "old man yells at cloud" is showing.

And his NFL career was longer than the average career, FYI

What ?!   Old man, I'll show you, kid !

Terrell Pryor useful NFL career,  QB 2 years 3-7, 1,997 yds? Not very useful. With CLE he went 5/9 41 total yards in 15 games !      WR ?  Just hanging around years with virtually NO production  LONGER than his 2 years of 0-1 and 3-6.    Or a 10 QB GS career.   A total  flop of an  " NFL career".

But he will tell his grandkids .... " gramps was a big time NFL quarterback "   lol.   " is that how you got your nice car, gramps"?

Terrelle Pryor did a better job at screwing his college coach and NFL teams in salary.  Completely overpriced worthless player.  A 3-7 worthless quarterback.   TWO  worthless NFL QB seasons of  0-1 and 3-6.       And 2014 nothing there ?       And what exactly did he do with WAS, NYJ, BUF all I see is a bunch of ZEROS.     So which team got screwed the most ? WAS ?

   OK,  Next.     :D

( But between you and me and Terrelle we can say he was a 7 (+/-) year professional quarterback....or whatever.   He did cash the checks,  lol. )

1) go look up the average career length of an NFL player.  An average of 3.3 years.  TP got beyond that as a worthless non playing person.  ZERO contributions on 3 teams before getting cut for good.

2) Pryor didn't screw over Tressel. Pryor won a lot of games for Tressel. And then Tressel chose to lie to the NCAA after learning Pryor was ineligible.

From statista.........

1. Career life by position, average all 3.3 years a pretty long held stat. (see screenshot)

2. In a long, long debated and thankfully buried topic, "TP" screwed over his team, school, HC and it continued into the NFL.   A career (2 yr) 0-1, 3-6 quarterback that hung around and never amounted to anything ..... except cashing game checks.   Just an insignificant dot in NFL history.

We get it, you don't like Pryor. Your continued repeating of the same stats while insulting the guy and adding nothing new doesn't add anything new.

His career was above average in length

He didn't screw over OSU or Tressel

His career was above average in length.  One 3-6 season and dead air.

He didn't screw over OSU or Tressel  actually he repeatedly screwed over his teammates,  team, school, fans,  he was nothing but a 6' 4". punk.

This is the TP that i and other BUCKEYE fans remember, the team leader :   On May 31, 2011, head coach Jim Tressel resigned multiple  media outlets also reported that Pryor had been driving on a license that was suspended by the State of Ohio. He drove a Nissan 350Z to a team meeting and workout. ESPN reported that his suspension was to expire on August 18, 2011. In a subsequent report, ESPN also alleged that Pryor made thousands of dollars autographing memorabilia for a local booster, a charge denied by Pryor's attorney....... on and on .....

It's not that I personally dislike TP I just can't stand what he did, he had NO character whatsoever.   And on Jim Tressel I do have some inside information about him from a neighbor who worked with JT and knows what he went through at YSU and OSU besides winning National Championships.  JT did a lot of good for a LOT of people and his schools and community.

And as a " professional "  TP was a big underachieving jock and was just there for the paychecks  (true his business but still a punk.)  His NFL career consisted of ONE 3-6  season and dead air.   If you want to say he lasted longer than 3.3 years fine..... but with a big * in the Hall of Shame.   That's all, may he rest in peace, I'm done with TP forever  except you know ....
