Flugel
To go from the hate of the loss to the love of the win, the on-going performance evaluations of the players is vital to success ahead. Tonight doesn't sound like a lot our best players/vets will play very long, if at all, in this extra preseason game. Having said that, a very important part of the Browns roster are the last few spots that will boil down to what some guys can or can't do on special teams. Many of the guys auditioning will probably get chances on STs and at the positions they eventually hope to play. For example, I still remember an opening kickoff where a 6th round draft pick for Denver by the name of Terrell Davis sprinted downfield and made one of the most violent kick coverage tackles I've ever seen. That juiced his teammates up and secured him a spot on the team in 1995. BTW, he also ended up rushing for over 1100 yards and scored 7 TDs as a rookie that same year. As good as that sounds, he later went over 2000 yards rushing in 1998 - and won a couple Super Bowls and a Super Bowl MVP award rushing for 157 yards against GB. There were also 3 Pro Bowls and 1 League MVP award from the 6th round draft pick. It can happen... EDIT: Josh Cribbs was an undrafted player that needed pre-season games to show what he was capable of before making Pro Bowls as a Return Specialist... I heard Becton is playing a couple quarters. Book it.

Orion
It's Thursday...so, of course, I've got band rehearsal. I wanted to see our rookie draft pick QB. Enjoy the game! Go Browns Back-ups!
Orion
So I got home in time to watch half the 3rd and all of the 4th quarters. What a disappointing broadcast. They hardly showed any of the game. They were gabbing with Rogers on the sideline and kept the friggin' camera on him. And then they're showing the clowns in the booth yukking it up. Meanwhile, I want to see the number of the guy that made the tackle...or see who's coming into the huddle. Nope. They just kept putting the camera on interviews and the stupid booth guys. I shut the friggin' sound off 5 minutes after turning the game on. Who can we write to to complain about NFL TV broadcasts?
Orion
So, stats show that Schwartz fumbled. Which he is prone to do. #27 Lorenzo Burns dropped about the easiest int anyone could ever ask for. And then got called for pass interference near the end of the game. I expect him & Schwartz to be shown the door. Felton got a lot of carries...and handled all of the punts...of which he almost bobbled one away. ( I still see him as useless ) Our rookie draft pick QB, Dorian T-R had some good moments. And he made some pretty good passes. But he also made at least a couple of passes where I thought to myself, Wow, how many weeks have you been a QB. But he's got pretty good pocket awareness. He's someone that I wanted to watch and overall I was fairly pleased with him. (I'm pulling for him) - he made a nice little block to help Felton get into the end zone! Stats show that Watkins and his 2 catches made him our leading yardage receiver by one whole yard. (I'm pulling for that kid too) .....anyone have any thoughts on what they saw? (I only saw most of the 2nd half)

It was all about the Arod love fest than it was about the HOF which pissed me off royal...
