The Pittsburgh Steelers (4-3) host the Tennessee Titans (3-4) to open up Week 9 with a Thursday night matchup.

Both offenses have sputtered this season as quarterback Kenny Pickett finds his footing and All-Pro running back Derrick Henry has been significantly less productive than in the past.

Despite getting hit hard and missing half the game last week against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Pickett said he's playing in this game.

~       And tonight !

  • Steelers vs. Titans spread: Pittsburgh -3
  • Steelers vs. Titans over/under: 37 points
  • Steelers vs. Titans money line: Pittsburgh -153, Tennessee +129
  • TEN: Titans are 4-3 against the spread in their last seven games
  • PIT: Steelers are 4-3 ATS this season, including 2-2 at home

Why the Steelers can cover

Pittsburgh has a number of solid options in its receiving corps, led by second-year veteran George Pickens. He leads the team with 28 receptions for 522 yards (18.6 average) and three touchdowns. He has 12 explosive plays of 20 or more yards, including a season-high of 71 yards. He has also converted 20 first downs. Pickens has had two 100-plus-yard receiving games in two of Pittsburgh's last three, including a six-catch, 130-yard and one-touchdown effort against Baltimore.

Fifth-year veteran Diontae Johnson is also a threat to opposing defenses. Despite being limited to four games this season, he has 16 receptions for 212 yards (13.3 average) with two explosive plays, including a season-high 39-yarder. Johnson is coming off an eight-catch, 85-yard effort on Sunday against Jacksonville. In 68 career games, he has 356 receptions for 3,858 yards (10.8 average) and 20 touchdowns. See which team to back here.

Why the Titans can cover

With quarterback Ryan Tannehill out with an ankle injury, Tennessee's receiving corps will try to step up their play to help out rookie quarterback Will Levis, who will start. Wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins will be one of those players. Hopkins leads the Titans with 31 receptions for 504 yards (16.3 average) and three touchdowns. He has had eight big plays of 20-plus yards, including a season-high 61-yarder.

Wide receiver Nick Westbrook-Ikhine has also made an impact on the offense. He has 17 catches for 201 yards (11.8 average) and three scores, including four explosive plays, including a 33-yarder. Although he had just one catch last Sunday, it was a 33-yard touchdown against the Atlanta Falcons. See which team to back here.

What happened to his 3 TD maker from last week after his 65 yd 1st half this week? I smartly did not play D Hop on my FFL which he won for me last week. Pitt against the pass at home is tough, so he must have disappeared with halftime adjustments to their defense.
