mjp28
NFL Add Topic NFL NFL playoff schedule: Dates, times, TV info from wild-card round to Super Bowl 58 Michael Middlehurst-Schwartz USA TODAY The NFL playoff schedule – like the field itself – is locked in. The Houston Texans and Cleveland Browns will kick things off on Saturday afternoon, with Tyreek Hill making his highly anticipated return to Arrowhead Stadium that night when the Miami Dolphins face the Kansas City Chiefs. On Sunday, the surging Buffalo Bills will play host to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Afterward, the Green Bay Packers will take on the Dallas Cowboys and their 16-game home winning streak in the afternoon, as Mike McCarthy squares off against his former team. That night, there's another notable reunion: Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams meeting up with Jared Goff and the Detroit Lions. And things wrap up Monday with the defending NFC champion Philadelphia Eagles traveling to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The wild-card round will take place from Jan. 13-15, with two games kicking off Saturday, three more following on Sunday and the final one taking place on Monday night. Then, the divisional round will be split with two matchups each the ensuing Saturday and Sunday. The conference championship games will be held consecutively on Jan. 28, setting the stage for Super Bowl 58 on Feb. 11. [ And two #15 Quarterbacks, both pretty good in their days, BOTH won SUPER BOWL RINGS ! ! 🙃

KC 25-Below Zero Temperatures for Dolphins at Chiefs Playoff 'Dangerously Cold!' Kansas City 25-Below Zero Temperatures for Dolphins at Chiefs Playoff Chiefs 19, Dolphins 7: Key updates from AFC wild-card game The Kansas City Chiefs and Miami Dolphins are playing in a frigid Arrowhead Stadium, with a temperature of minus-4 degrees Fahrenheit at kickoff. With the wind chill, it feels like minus-27. It also marks the first exclusively streamed playoff game in NFL history: The game is only available on Peacock and the NFL+ app. Follow here for the latest. Key updates Patrick Mahomes found Rashee Rice for an 11-yard touchdown to cap off a smooth, nine-play opening drive to put the Chiefs ahead 7-0 with 11:05 left in the first quarter. Miami's second drive ended with a turnover, as Tua Tagovailoa's overthrow was intercepted by Mike Edwards. Harrison Butker's 28-yard field goal gave Kansas City a 10-0 lead in the second quarter. Just two plays later, the Dolphins found a response, as Tagovailoa connected with Tyreek Hill on a 53-yard touchdown pass to make it 10-7. Butker tacked on two more field goals to close out the first half from 26 and 32 yards, putting Kansas City ahead 16-7. Three plays after Mahomes' helmet cracked as he was tackled at the end of a run (he swapped it out and appeared OK), Butker made his fourth field goal of the game, putting Kansas City ahead 19-7 with 7:49 to play in the third quarter. mjp28
Of course, the Buffalo Bills and their fans know all about this sort of thing; on Sunday, the Pittsburgh Steelers come to town and you've been instructed to bring your snow shovel to Highmark Stadium to mark the occasion. But back to KC ... where this game is likely to be played in below-zero temperatures. According to the latest weather forecast, the temperature at kickoff will be around zero degrees. And then the night will roll on and the temps will drop ... and once the wind chills factor is taken into account? Bills Looking For Snow Shovelers With Inclement Weather Looming Read More Tyreek Hill and the Dolphins will be trying to cope with temps as frigid as 25-below zero. Oh, and yes, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs won't be viewing this as some pleasure cruise, either. "Dangerously cold'' is the phrase being used, but the NFL show must go on. As with the game in Buffalo, there is no indication at this time that the NFL has plans to change the kickoff times or locations. I agree. 13 minutes ago, syd said: Jimmah on the phone with bill as we speak Could they co-exist? Is it guaranteed that BB wants personnel control just like in NE or does he just want to coach? JJ comes across as more of a micro-manager then Bob Kraft. BUT I think part of the Patriot Way is keeping a strong facade and all matters internal. AP1
It's hard to root against the Lions. With the exception of losing a team to a move, they've endured many of the same frustrations as the Browns.
