Mike Tomlin might be on a short leash

Is this for real??? Being head coach for the Pittsburgh Steelers has more job security than being a justice on the Supreme Court (what up Byron "Whizzer" White!)

He'd have to REALLY screw up bad to get the boot. In four years I think he's doing a pretty damn good job of sticking around IMHO.

You ask this, but who is the Ri tard? Your team is in the Superbowl, for most fans they would be in a packers forum trash talking or maybe a Jets forum gloating...

You my friend are in a browns forum, we were 5-11 the last two years..

Im a yankee fan and I wouldnt want to go into an orioles forum, let alone a pirates one.. Wait do they have a pirates forum?

Do the Pirates even have a team anymore? hahaha maybe they can find some little league kids this year and win more than 5 games

Storied franchise that has been putrid for the last decade or longer. They do have a solid farm system but usually send off the top tier talent for more farm talent. I expect them to turn it around eventually but a few terrible owners have kept them from a rebound. Let's not forget the Indians. Man they've been on fire! lol.

hey who has more World Series titles?

When did they win their last title? Storied franchise that won titles back when there were 28 teams or fewer. Two of those before the integration of black people into MLB. Sorry but those don't count. Sound familiar faggot?

Bill Cowher................ the "great" winner.............

1994 AFC Championship Game LOSS

1995 Super Bowl LOSS

1997 AFC Vivisional Game LOSS

2001 AFC Championship Game LOSS

2004 AFC Championship Game LOSS

Tomlin is in the hot seat? Horse manure, I don't believe it.

Cowher reached more Conference Championship Games in his 15 years than 22 NFL Franchises (including the Browns) have done in 40.

During his tenure (1992-2006), the Steelers had the most wins and the best winning percentage in the league.

Cowher won Division Titles AND Playoff Games with 5 different starting QBs - find another Head Coach who has accomplished that.

Fact is - they got that far (the AFC Championship Game) and 2 Super Bowls and you're calling him a LOSER?

What would that make the Browns during that time? They had 2 winning seasons (one of which was the "ever impressive 9-7") and 2 playoff appearances and 0 Division Titles. Cowher had 8 Division Championships and 10 Playoff Appearances.

The reality is that you would have given anything for the kind of success that Cowher had - and you'd be lying to yourself if you say anything different.

WIN LIKE COWHER DID? Ah how many freaking AFC championships did Cowher lose? He got publicly embarassed in the SB against Dallas.

When did Tomlin ever get his ass handed to him like that?

Publicly Embarrassed?

The Steelers had more passing yards - 239 vs. 209

The Steelers had more rushing yards - 103 vs. 56

The reality is that after a slow start, the Steelers outplayed and outcoached the superior talented Cowboys, including a gutsy onside kick that was one of the best surprise calls in Super Bowl history and only 2 very bad Interceptions kept them from pulling off the upset.

If you want to call that publickly embarrassed - what would you consider what the Buffalo Bills did against the Cowboys a few years earlier, or the Broncos vs. the 49ers, or the Chargers vs. the 49ers or the Patriots vs. the Bears?

Those were all embarrassing blowouts, whereas the Steelers played one of the most underrated Super Bowls of all time and nearly won.

The Browns have never even come close to what Cowher and the 1995 Steelers have done - unless you think of the 1957 NFL Championship where the Browns lost 59-14?

Or how about the Browns first choke in a Conference Championship Game - 1968 vs. the Baltimore Colts where they lost 34-0.

Doubtful you'd bring that up. You guys like to think that the Browns were unbeatable in the 1950s and 1960s when it simply was not true.

On our way to ring number seven, here we go Steeler's, here we go!

We are running out of fingers for these rings. How cool!

The funny thing is you aren't wearing any of them. Why? Because you have nothing to do with it. You aren't even the king of your trailer park and your mom is your sister.
