I wouldn’t take any action. I don’t believe NATO is truly the threat Putin perceives it to be. If I were in charge in Russia, I’d realize I’m not the global player the USSR was I would gain far more from remaining neutral globally while quietly courting China’s favor.

Browns Use Franchise Tag On David Njoku

I like this better than a 3 year 30 million dollar contract. -
Keep importing Russian oil. Sanctions while a “inconvenience” have proven to be less effective then one would hope. If oil prices are really an issue Americans can walk when possible, car pool, stop traveling, etc. Even that may not work if demand is lessened OPEC & Russia can collude as they did during the pandemic and cut supply driving the price back up. https://mobile.reuters.com/article/amp/idUSKCN21U0J6

The response is a completely different question. There are check boxes for me such as genocide, chemical/biological warfare, UN/NATO support, etc.. I don’t feel enough of those have been checked to this point for me to say war is justified. What Putin is doing is wrong, that fact has not changed.
-
I see this as black and white, what Putin is doing is wrong and history will judge it as such.

Still haven’t taken a side. Must be nice to sit on the fence and then claim your opinion during the autopsy.
-
You’ll believe any narrative to be a contrarian but you still haven’t answered the questions. Take a real stance so when this is autopsied we’ll see who is on the right side if history. I believe Putin is a violent dictator that is invading a country for his own benefit and is WRONG.

Do you believe Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is justified? Do you believe the US should praise Putin for his actions?
-
Actually makes sense. These lawsuits/charges are ridiculous as they are going nowhere. As Leonard SkinHard sang, Watergate does not bother me… so even when there is clear evidence of presidential wrong doing many Americans just don’t care. Until there is unequivocal evidence these lawsuits are frivolous to me and even if that evidence comes, 30 percent of Americans still won’t care because “team” comes before “we”

Don’t care about defending democracy. Don’t like genocide or the unilateral seizing of territory.
-
So just to be clear no opinion. Convenient

President Trump has vocally supported the action so not sure how this wouldn’t be happening under his tenure.

Corporate Tax is 21% I believe anyone paying over that in personal income taxes probably has an issue. -
Ukraine hit by massive cyber attack
BaconHound replied to DieHardBrownsFan's topic in POLITICAL DISCUSSION
Unfortunately these cyber attacks are nothing new and probably here to stay. With modernization and globalization come quite a few negatives, this being a glaring one. -
I am against the Russian occupation and annexation of Ukraine. So we can count you in the “for it” category?

Actually I think most liberals would like the Corporate Tax rate to be that high. -

I really didn’t and my SUV is a gas guzzler. In the grand schemes of crap I get irritated about paying, 28% income taxes and school taxes (no kids) are much higher on the list.
