  1. I know you like to argue but the science is clear that vaccination saves lives. If you don’t believe that, please block me.
  2. For shit’s sake. No one who is pro-vaccine wants anyone who will die from the vaccine to be forced to get it.
  3. I’m rubber you’re glue whatever you say bounces off me and sticks to you… that about sim it up
  4. I’ll keep this as simple as possible. Science/Medicine has proven that vaccination reduces the spread of the disease. A true American/Christian would do everything on their power to protect another person. The vaccination is part of that protection.
  5. Stories, exactly. Purged voters don’t mean denied votes. Each state has a method of trying to eliminate voters from the rolls. Aren’t we trying to keep dead people from voting. In the municipality I live in there is an action brought in Supreme Court every few years to question election results. Some are successful, typically on improper signatures on petitions, some aren’t. Every state has election law to remedy election issues. Trump attempted to and failed in every state. I consider you a rational poster so let’s stop with the “stories” and discuss on the level of what actually takes place.
  6. She is simply rallying her base, which is just as scary as Trump rallying his.
  7. I would disagree. Why would religious educators who participate outside of public schools benefit from public money? When we build bridges, the municipality will bid out contracts, every contractor doesn’t simply receive a check.
  8. Shit calling a politician a hypocrite is the same as saying get Earth is round.
  9. If vaccination can save one life that otherwise would have died, shouldn’t we get vaccinated? God, for a Christian society that should be a no-brainer.
  10. It’s only hypocrisy if you don’t condemn it, which I do and I’d think many in here would. The main difference in political opinion holders is one demographic seems incapable of condemning their narrative when it’s wrong. They embrace conspiracy theory and pivot to another talking point. There is soooo much waste in our government and it happens on both sides of the aisle.
  11. As does every state I would assume. Not sure how many people report their loved ones death to the local Board of Elections.
  12. I don’t think either have weighed in, even though we both know your question was rhetorical. You’re smart enough to realize this is just another fear-mongering tactic out of the Roveian playbook.
  13. Got my Moderna Booster Monday and the same.
  14. But they shouldn’t have to use that money to better their institutions. There is land, houses, art, etc that needs to be purchased and of course … https://www.npr.org/2020/10/14/923306264/you-cannot-serve-both-god-and-money-vatican-s-financial-scandal-takes-new-twist
  15. I’d rather have the mandate. I don’t put a lot of faith in those who don’t trust science. And as we are seeing the number of dropouts isn’t that high.
  16. https://apnews.com/article/coronavirus-pandemic-business-health-94814d87baa33b872ab0602f63a41b46 but feel free to spin it however you’d like
  17. Not sure it was as much rejecting Biden’s agenda as it was the belief that Critical Race Theory is being taught in schools combined with the fear of mask mandates in schools.
  18. Stock market is robust and consumer prices increase can be mitigated with individual decisions. Rising oil/energy prices are always a concern but one would hope that demand levels off as people spend their, “we didn’t travel during COVID nest egg”
  19. Said when he was drafted, hoped for the best but felt Baker wasn’t it. Flashes of good play but too inconsistent. Not the #1 pick in the draft.
  20. Thousands upon thousands, source?
  21. I can appreciate the retraction. It’s refreshing to know if a lie is spoken or printed there are still people wiling to correct themselves for the sake of the truth.
