Baby Boomers from both parties spend decades driving up the national debt, knowing that their generation will never have to deal with the consequences of it, and now they're "concerned" about their children and grandchildren?
What a crock of shit. You geriatric fucks can't be driven out of offices of power fast enough.

Good. Can't wait until the housing market crashes. I've been saving up for my first house and I'd rather not pay an extra $10-40k for an overvalued house.

Don't get too excited. They always fall at the end of the season.
That's the benefit of being a Reds fan; I can get my optimism in my team out of the way before the All-Star break.

Personally, the time period from the end of the NFL draft until I do my fantasy football draft (usually a week or two before Week 1 of the regular season) is baseball season for me. I went to my first Reds game last weekend; my first since before the pandemic. I figured I'd balance out my high expectations for the upcoming Browns season by watching my beloved Reds continually disappoint me.

Turnaround is fair play.😃
You mean turnabout? Sure. Then it'll be fair play again for Democrats when it's a Republican in question. And conservatives such as yourself will gnash their teeth and rend their clothes in outrage over how Leftists are ignoring innocence until proven guilty. And on and on the wheel continues to spin.
Both sides are hypocrites.
-
Is this not the same tactic - accusing someone of sexual misconduct and the news blowing it up - that conservatives were up in arms about when leftists did the same thing to Trump and Kavanaugh?
Where is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law?

granted, but you have to consider the NON swamp ones who are also boomers who don't fit.
Pres Reagan was one. Pres. JFK, Bobby Kennedy...Pres Trump...look how Reagan was hated by so much of the insiders in our gov.
Even Tip O'Niel admired how popular he was. So many "hated" Pres Trump for how popular he was. Look at his rallies.
The political support Pres Trump has is a threat to the swamps control over America. Pres Ford was not a player I don't think.
btw..Reagan - shot. Ford - short. JFK - shot. Bobby Kennedy -shot.
wonder why nobody ever shot Ted Kennedy?
because he was part of the swamp - corrupt and a sleazy player.
Pres Trump?
nope. except....
With the exception of Trump, none of those people you mentioned were Baby Boomers.
Also, Gerald Ford was 6'0".

it isn't the "boomer generation" - far too broad a brush... it's the deep swamp - not all of them dems.
Crooked, dishonest, dangerously ego-centric frauds who crave power and wealth. ----> Sums up the boomer generation as a whole rather succinctly.
bushes, cheneys, obaMaos, bidens, pelosies, aoc, brennan, clapper, carters, romneys, john kerry, comeys, peter strzok, christoper wray, most every single democrat... -----> With the exception of AOC and Strzok, these people are all baby boomers. Kind of proving my point.
the list is really long.
They are all over our government. It's been getting worse and worse over decades. "Birds of a feather flock together" to protect themselves.
how dangerous?

Yes, AOC is doing great as an elected Politician.
She's doing no worse than Pelosi or McConnell or the vast majority of Boomer politicians who are abusing their offices to their benefit. They're all pieces of shit. The difference is Boomer politicians have been pieces of shit decades now, and are stubbornly sticking to the toilet bowl no matter how many times you jiggle the handle.
But, that's the Boomer generation, in general, for you: inherent the greatest economy and government in human history and proceed to drive both into the ground in order to feed their greed.

Honestly, I just wish all you baby boomers - Democrats, Republicans, etc - would just take the hint to leave office already. Since they took the reins of government in the mid 80s, Boomers have continually proven themselves to be utter dog shit when it comes to running a government, at all levels.

So there's people out there who don't feel like they're represented by either the Republican or Democrat parties and want a viable 3rd option?

Oh fucking hell. You can't just be happy that trial came out in a way that's favorable? You've gotta go out of your way to troll these guys. It's hard to pretend to have any high ground when you're just as pathetic a troll as diehard is.
This board is a microcosm of the politics of America in general. I find it's best summed up by a slightly tweaked lyric from Stealers Wheel:
"Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right
Here I am
Stuck in the middle and screwed..."

Let's do entitlement reform. Trimming the fat on Medicare and doing away with the Ponzi scheme that is Social Security would free up alot of proverbial salary cap on the US's books.

Me too, I’ve sold 3 houses in the past 20 months and it’s definitely a sellers market.
Once the housing market goes south...I’m looking to be a buyer again.
For sure. I'm a first time homebuyer, so I definitely don't want to spend $140k on a run down dump that was going for less than $100k 18 months ago. I know that houses increase in value overall, but the market is pretty artificially inflated now. There's going to be a glut of houses in the near future when the stimmy checks stop coming and the banks are allowed to collect overdue house payments again.

I believe the biggest inconvenient truth is that the United States of America died a long time ago, and that most people are just now starting to realize it.
Saddest part of Biden causing massive inflation is effect on children, next generation

And who taught these "socialist loving millennials" to believe that socialism is a viable belief system to have? Gen Xers and Millennials didn't pop out of the womb quoting Karl Marx. It is the job of the current generation to educate the future generations and to leave the world in a better place than what they found it. Baby Boomers inherited from their parents' generation the most prosperous economy and wealth of opportunity in human history, then proceeded to not only squander that wealth, but robbed their children and grandchildren's futures to fuel their own greed. And to top it all off, the Boomers don't even have the decency to bow out gracefully and let the succeeding generations try to begin cleaning up the mess that the Boomers created and will probably never suffer the consequences of.
Say what you want about Gen X and millennials, but the Baby Boomers are, by far, the most selfish generation.
