  1. Dolphins and Raiders are both good. And then there is the Colts. It will be an interesting wildcard race.
  2. Berry praised Baker. From the sounds of it, you’re just a sh$t fan who doesn’t support players who have contributed to wins. Idk why I’m responding to such a post
  3. Win the next 3 games and we should be near the top 10 again. I believe in this team.
  4. I think it’s clear that Baker was thinking too much with OBJ on the field. So yea, it appeared as if OBJ hindered his development. I just don’t think it has some negative impact on Baker’s future. It’s a good thing that he got to play with high level receivers early in his career.
  5. I get what common sense says especially since Baker broke the Browns record after OBJ went out. Let’s not forget that OBJ played a huge role in beating Dallas and IND. I do feel as if Baker was too inexperienced to receive such a polarizing weapon. However, I also think that having OBJ has boosted Mayfield’s development.
  6. You can’t take Colin seriously. I don’t like talking about him. He has “hater” written all over. back to the topic: OBJ will be missed if he goes. A restructured deal would be a nice way to keep him around.
  7. We couldn’t catch a break today. Dumb face masks. Jumping offsides. Dropping interceptions. Dropping a key 3rd down while down 7. Hitting the RB when the ball is floating in the air to be intercepted..the list goes on. I think the cold weather is messing with the team especially since we are missing Chubb. He elevates this team so much. It will be nice to get him back. I like the WR group a lot more than the TEs but time will tell. Hopefully more 3 WR sets until we get Chubb and Hooper back. Bryant looks like a good blocker and receiver, bad ball security on the fumble. edit: can't forget the Ward strip on Carr and 0 defenders reacting to the ball.
  8. Time to go to 3 WR sets with people who can catch the ball. Njoku trying to catch with his chest and forearms.
  9. I like this view because it shows how well DPJ uses his frame. He used the slightest push off as #23 Phillips was turning for the ball. Excellent timing and placement from Baker and great body control from Peoples-Jones.
  10. Baker's first half of stellar play vs Indy should say something about his growth. His second half cool down was where he(and Coach) need to do a better job of sustaining drives. Also, I get that it's Hue, but he has a point.... https://factoryofsadness.co/2020/10/23/browns-hue-jackson-may-point-baker-mayfield/
  11. I was surprised with Baker at #1 overall. I get it now. It takes the type of player that Baker is to be the QB of this franchise. It's only year 3. Growth is not always linear.
  12. I'd wait until the year is actually over before making such a judgement. This was a bad game for Baker. You know who else had a bad game this week? Aaron Rodgers... It happens.
  13. When you have a poor play like that it’s kinda pointless trying to yell at others to do better. IMO. OBJ didn’t do anything wrong and had some type of say in how the offense was performing
  14. He was probably trying too hard to make a play since we down by 17 and the offense was trash
  15. Zeke having ball security issues
  16. Baker threw the costly pick 6 that burned us. He couldn’t say anything. OBJ was also the proper read on that play.
  17. I’m not saying it wasn’t a bad game. I think even the coach deserves some blame. Both our starting safeties were out as well and Sendejo looks bad at times. Redwine is not that good. Cleveland was more banged up. Even Baker was playing with a plate. He should’ve got pulled earlier IMO but that would’ve sent the wrong image. And it was Pittsburgh, a place where the Browns do not win. Smith looks like a solid LB. It will be nice to get the safeties back we should consider trading or signing another one.
  18. It’s nice that we took an L and still have a good record at 4-2. I’m not dwelling on this game at all. Good news: We don’t play Pitt or Baltimore until December 14 on MNF against the Ratbirds and we will hopefully have Chubb back for that game. Both games at home.
  19. I had a feeling we weren’t winning this game. Haven’t won in Pitt since 03’ No Chubb, No Teller. Pitt is better right now.
  20. Baker took a shot. He didn’t have any time to get a throw off with how good Pitt pressure is. I’m ok down 17 and getting ball. we miss Teller rn..
  21. Baker was seeing ghosts today. Pitt has the best pressure in the league and we are missing Wyatt Teller badly. Obviously we could’ve used Nick Chubb in this matchup. Whole offense has looked shook, and OBJ steps up huge with a speech. Leadership.
  22. It's an offensive year. No crowd noise. Our defense is getting turnovers which is better than forcing 3 and outs. I think the LBs will get better as the season progresses.
  23. Malcolm Smith won a SB with Seattle. He was the MVP. It was the 43-8 rout. Highlights: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gJcPMq2QUNg
