  1. 1. Not at all. 2. Yeah, if I see it. There is NO institutional racism in this country. Zero. I'm not going to get involved in the name calling sort of crap that gets too much play in the media, but if I thought (let's say) Macy's was pumping racist propaganda out, I wouldn't shop there. 3. Funny story. A white guy I have worked with for over a decade just told me last week that white people can only be called racists because they are the people with all the power in this country. I could only give him the raised eyebrow head nod and "Ok. Good to know." response, due to the the completely unprovoked statement. He knows I lean conservative, so he figured that statement would bring out my "inner racist." I think people who go out of their way to make life hard on people outside their own race are racists. I think people who call each other racist names on the internet are just assholes.
  2. I like how they coin it as a "penalty". 15 yards for "unnecessary impregnation"!! If it's stipulated in the contract, then you don't sign it if you don't like it. In the old days, when women worked far less, the man was the one who had to step up and do what it took to get what the family needed. Now that soceity has "progressed" to single motherhood and breadwinning wives, we must redefine common sense to protect us from our own progressive values. Listen, women in the workplace has some tremendous upside and, to a lesser extent, a tremendous downside. This, clearly, is part of the downside. I don't care how much money someone has, to force them to pay for something they will not receive a return on (a fast chick in NIKE shorts I guess?) is incredibly bad business. Just curious Cleve....had this chick taken up smoking, should NIKE penalize her? We can talk about intentions all day, but the end result is identical.
  3. Truth be told, as a witness to the past 20 years, I'm thrilled to see a debate about whether or not the browns have a top 10 QB. Not gonna lie. The problem isn't necessarily about Baker's ability or potential. You have to look at the history of the system each QB is in. I'm a Freddie Kitchens fan, but that's quite a leap of faith. He'd be the first person to say that. There is an argument to be made that Baker may be a better QB than Ryan, Wentz, or Goff by years end, but Ben is a much harder sale for me. I hate the rapist more than anyone, don't get me wrong. But to put it in boxing terms, Ben will take you into deep waters and drown you. Baker just isn't a great finisher yet, but I expect to see a bit more of that from him this season. Here's their methodology: These rankings are based on how each QB performed last season and the upside of how each might perform in 2019. No matter how many Super Bowl rings or MVP awards a QB has won, or the number of efficient passing seasons he has posted in the past, history is a small part of the equation. We thought about where each QB ended up last season in terms of effectiveness, production and durability, and then we thought even more about how his talent and offensive support set him up for success (or lack thereof) this season. I think we can check the effectiveness, production, and durability boxes for both Baker and Ben. The problem here is they are ignoring the system these guys are in and focusing on talent influx exclusively. Under their parameters the rankings make more sense, but I'm not sure it's an entirely fair assessment. I hope Baker winds up the best QB in the league by seasons end, but I think this run game under Freddie will be dominant over the second half of the season. I see Chubb and Hunt digging into Baker's "production" quite a bit. We shall see.
  4. Yeah, well, Myles thought Ogbah was just fine also. He doesn't seem to follow Dorsey's train of thought that competition makes you better.
  5. Honestly, after 13 games, I can't put Baker ahead of Ben, Wentz, or Goff. After this season, if things progress as they should, it wouldn't be that far of a stretch.
  6. ...still a ways to go. Baker ranked ahead of Ben makes me chuckle though. https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nfl/list/ranking-all-32-nfl-quarterbacks-from-best-to-worst/1e800cpni4cjf15fseqi4yrz1k
  7. https://brownswire.usatoday.com/2019/05/18/dont-expect-browns-to-use-more-than-2-lbs-very-often/ Very interesting read on Wilks.
  8. Hey look, it's one of those sex robot thingies.
  9. Want Zombo to ban you? Call him a Quinn Fagg....better yet start a thread titled; Mayfield or Quinn? That will do it.
  10. Just read he holds the record for most points scored in NCAA history. Edit: by a kicker
  11. He looks like a big boy. Don't think you can just run this guy over on kickoffs.
  12. Gerald Willis III seems like a value pick at a position of need.
  13. https://mobile.twitter.com/RapSheet/status/1121474474203697152?ref_src=twsrc^google|twcamp^serp|twgr^tweet It may be an interesting night.
  14. I love this schedule. The Titans to open the season sounds better to me than Pitt. I'd rather hit those assholes in full stride anyway. 3 primetime games in the first 5 weeks. The AFCE are very winnable games outside NE. Plus, the Bungs 2x, Fins, and Cards in the last 6 weeks of the season. This is the kindest I can ever remember the schedule maker's being to the Browns.

  16. I remember them airing at similar times, but I didn't recall that. Interesting. Would make sense considering their Nintendo connection.
  17. Of course he's narcissistic. Just to run for president you have to be narcissistic. How can you not be to apply for the position of leader of the free world? It's like a prerequisite. Name just one candidate ever that wasn't. Try and you shall fail. So everyone is hypnotized by his imaginary pocket watch except liberals, foreigners, and psychiatrists? Well I'll give you points for originality on that. The fact that you think you're more qualified than most to judge a person's intentions sounds.....well let's just say you have some prerequisites necessary to run for the office yourself. I'm not sure how many Trump supporters you've actually talked to, but I don't think you understand the variety of people that support him. There are a whole lot of them that will tell you his personality is a big big turn off. He's no angel, that's for sure. At some point though, you have to look at policy when doing the math on how Trump won, or shall I say is winning.
