Hard to believe as Tex said... I've been here since 06 and I still can't believe it's been that long.. We also gotta remember Tour, Gipper and Daddy Bull and a host of others I'm sure I'm forgetting.. I'm not a Bud Light dude but I'll do a shot of CC in their honor...

Wow I wasn’t active during the Tour thread so I missed that story, that just ruined my day 😕 I remember making a bet with him and he had to send me a sampler of Texas beers. Though I sent him a sixer of Christmas ale anyway to spread the holiday cheer.

Him and Gipper were amazing people and contributors to the board.

Except what worries me is the Ravens destroyed the Seahawks, (the team we just lost to) and the week before that the Lions. Seattle got all of three points, and the Ratbirds ran roughshod over them, racking up almost 300 rushing yards. Just watching the Baltimore- Seahawk highlights, it looked similar to what the Browns did to the Cardinals. You could make the case when the weekly beauty contest, er- NFL power rankings come out tomorrow, Baltimore should get serious consideration for the top spot.

Baltimore has really found their stride unfortunately, but I think we match up well with them on paper - lots of speedsters on defense. Hopefully it’s a different looking game with Watson as QB.

On the note of stefanski praise, his teams have been monumentally better against the afcn than the previous bunch of coaches.

  3. With brisset we are 3-0 in the last 3 and probably don’t have asterisks attached to the 2 wins on the debated ref calls. Though the same is true with a healthy Watson.

Most likely is the browns are very optimistic about Watson and didn’t wanna give draft capital for a 1-2 game rental at this point. Hopefully they are correct on their assessment of watsons health

I haven't heard his name called hardly at all this year. Maybe it was time to part ways.

I think probably partially because the dumpster fire qb play. Which probably also torpedo’d the value he had a couple months ago.

i get getting something over nothing, but what’ll probably be a late 6th 2 years from now just seems not worth the thinning of the receiver corps.

I feel.for Walker. Say what you want but the guy loves this team. Shit happens.  a handful could.have just as easily been a fumble. Better to gamble than live as a coward.

    Marty and Bermie were cowards.

Stefanski is a coward. He was afraod of Smith and gave.him a complimentary.blow job and begged him, " If I play nice and don't try.to hurt you will please.just play for a field.goal.

To everyone, don't life your life in fear. You will never achieve anything without risk.

    Stefanski and Depodesta are cowards

Unfortunately loving the game and/or team doesn’t make up for lacking nfl skills.

I say the following having no clue about the gameday flow, the current momentum, the offensive set, the last 5 throws of PJ or anything else, so put your pitchforks down and take a Lorazepam.

I don't have a problem with Stef throwing it there (based on all of the above) and if he completes it, the game is probably over. Of course one of the worst things that could've happened did, but our league leading defense should have been able to at least force a long FG attempt (again, I have no idea of what the momentum was like).

I'm guessing if Sef would've ran the ball into an 11 man front for a 3" gain and the defense still choked it away (pitchforks down - the #1 D in the NFL should've played like it with the game on the line) then people would be criticizing him for being too conservative and not having a killer mentality.

Just my .02 about a game I did not watch.

It was a bad call by Kevin in the context of the game, where the run game was dominant including on that drive. We quite likely win the game with a run there.

But the real enemy is the FO, where PJ Walker is the best QB Kevin has available.

31/32 QBs make the wide open check down for a first down easily on that play.

They said before the game IR is still a possibility for Watson depending on how he feels this week. What the F

They better have a QB on a plane to Cleveland tomorrow, whether it’s Jacoby or Foles or the homeless guy outside barley house.
