  1. I didn’t watch but what do you expect from Driskel signed on Monday playing with a bunch of backups.
  2. Wow the jags are blowing it…did not see that one coming. The browns set them on a crash course into the ground apparently
  3. Hard to see TJ playing with the MCL even if it’s a sprain that doesn’t need surgery, but we’ll see - I’m still favoring the Jags and Bills today, but of the two scenarios I definitely could see Miami winning. I think Miami would be more likely to pull the wild card upset if they drop to the bills vs the Steelers though.
  4. I actually don’t really care that much who we play, but I’d like tougher low seeds who can potentially upset the higher seeds. Houston is up and coming, but still has too many holes to contend this year. With stroud they probably wouldn’t be held to 0 points like they were the first time around (7 special teams, 15 against backups in garbage time) - but we can still handle em. I really wouldn’t wanna lose to the Texans just so we don’t have to see the headlines about how Houston fleeced the browns and are so much better without Watson. Baltimore and Buffalo are the actual two teams that I think pose the biggest threat (unless Buffalo screws it up today). As long as they just focus on winning the wild card so we can actually make it to a game against Baltimore.
  5. Yea but there’ll be more browns fans than bengals fans, I assume - “like a home game”
  6. I like the Bills and Jags, so probably no playoff berth for the Steelers this year. Then I like the Texans and Phins chances to pull off upsets against KC/BUF in the wildcard round. And our browns can beat anyone, but they also aren’t unbeatable (obviously). We’ll be favorites in the first round regardless of the opponent.
  7. I’ll probably watch the highlights since I have things to do tomorrow, but I expect a W. Young guys hungry for playing time on a contender vs a bengals squad thats already packed their bags and just want to get it over with. I wish the bengals were contending for a spot or something, knocking out their hopes would at least give some reason to care about the result.
  8. I have a hard time seeing the jags lose so I expect them, but more unexpected things have happened… Of all the AFCS teams I think the Texans will definitely put up the best fight, but their best years are definitely ahead of them.
  9. I prefer the lower seeds to win, so we have a chance at a home game. Steelers aren’t getting out of the wild card if they manage to get in. Theyll win their snoozer of a game today but still need help. Waiting for steeler fans to start their Super Bowl hype for barely beating the ravens backups on the road in crap weather…
  10. I think we’re there with em, Emerson and Wright in the 3rd - could argue two of the most important positions. Wright has given solid rotational reps, Emerson is breaking out this year (top ratings across the NFL) Ford is a starter too but I’m much more meh on him still, he had some great plays against the jets though.
  11. Just saw the DT was fined $16k for the hit to Flaccos head, the refs standing right there missed it of course (not that it matters, since it was a TD anyway)
  12. Nobody cares about some 4th round busts. They were both high risk/high reward guys. Those didn’t work out, but not a bad draft overall with guys like Emerson, Alex Wright, and Jerome Ford. Given the draft stats, that’s pretty good.
  13. there we go, copypasta from the other thread Steelers 20 Ravens 17 Think Steelers win a close one, and miss the playoffs still since I don’t expect the Jags or Bills to lose Browns 27 Bengals 13 Browns are tough to beat at home, and this will be a home game. Our practice squad make Browning look even more pedestrian than he has lately. And Stefanski owns Zac Taylor and the Bengals. — Seeing the weather in Baltimore I think the score may be much lower, but same result.
  14. We need a new one, but I’ll go on the record since stoolers start soon Steelers 20 Ravens 17 Think Steelers win a close one, and miss the playoffs still since I don’t expect the Jags or Bills to lose Browns 27 Bengals 13 Browns are tough to beat at home, and this will be a home game. Our practice squad make Browning look even more pedestrian than he has lately
  15. The Haslams may be questionable business people (what billionaire isn’t), but they are the furthest thing from cheap when it comes to spending money on the browns. They might be the highest spending owners in the NFL. Obviously when the dumb headlines came out about Flacco not getting his bonus they had no problem making sure he’d get the $75k
  16. He’s been out a few weeks now, guess they delayed IR just to see if a comeback was possible. We have the depth to make up for AWalk, though. Pretty sure JOK and Taki Taki have gotten the green dot when he’s out (maybe alternately, not sure)
  17. I can’t imagine there’ll be many bungle fans in the house. A few die hards that wanna see a game while tickets are cheap maybe (I did that once for a December game and heavily regretted my decision immediately), their offensive weapons last game together before they drop some in free agency maybe - though Tee isn’t playing I think. Though I can’t imagine there’ll be many browns fans either, I sure wouldn’t wanna watch a meaningless game in that weather with Jeff Driskel leading the charge.
  18. Our own pocket passer Joey Flacco tore his ACL before, as well as had a herniated disc in his neck - could say he wasn’t the same player after injuries, but with the Browns he’s back to playing like pre-injury Flacco. I do think running QBs naturally have a higher injury risk, though - obviously. Lamar himself usually misses time annually, just hasn’t this year like the rest of the AFCN QBs.
  19. I love these, Flacco was mic’d up this week and I had no idea he dropped so many F bombs - I thought everyone said he had no fire or emotion
  20. Bengals not resting Chase or their other guys would make winning that much more hilarious.
  21. I think he could be a good HC again, probably has learned a lot since. Though not sure if he’ll get a shot still, teams still like the offensive gurus. Like Bienemy, who is a hot name - an OC on a garbage team.
  22. Kinda expected I guess, not worried about cook on the ravens at all.
