    Playoffs

I think the dolphins/ravens will be quite a good game, better than the 9ers disaster. But I do think the ravens win that one, if not then the Steelers always screw with the ravens so that scenario is possible. Either way I have basically 0 confidence in the things falling in our favor to win the AFCN. Would love it, but I just can’t see the ravens losing out at this point. I just would want them to lose to the dolphins so they have to play starters in week 18

    Playoffs

I believe a W is all they need to clinch #5, with a win wee play for nothing in bengals week unless Miami upsets Baltimore
  3. Sucks if we get to 12 wins and still not win the division, sucks to be in the best I guess. if we clinch the 5 seed, then playing the AFC South winner is the best matchup we could hope for. I wouldn’t wanna go into arrowhead to kick things off
  4. I actually feel bad for sieman that his next chance to play comes in Cleveland in a game we need to win to clinch.
  5. Go up 45-0 in the first half so the backups can finish the second half

    DTR

That’s too bad, I guess he took some hits in garbage time that should have been avoided. Wrap Joey Flacco in bubble wrap He may be able to come back for the afc championship though 😉

    Playoffs

I said we would unexpectedly lose to the jets and then win 5 in a row, which I’m ok with
  8. Joe Flacco made some seriously elite throws, I mean that sideline throw falling forward to cooper was nuts. Merry Christmas all!
  9. Apparently they do have it because there’s some weird pay per view stuff and the bar has people pay money to watch it in a separate area, the part nobody wants to be has the browns game
  10. In Istanbul there is a big soccer match apparently, that will be over by the browns game but the bar that shows the browns game would rather show the postgame of the soccer match since I guess people care about that here 🙃
  11. Cleveland 30 Houston 17 I normally give outlandish predictions since why would I ever predict a browns loss, but I think this one might actually be close to reality. They are quite banged up with a questionable pass D, a QB like Keenum seems much less dangerous with our pass rush. Win not only cements our playoff spot (not really but basically), but it would also help keep the pressure on Baltimore especially if they lose to the 9ers - want them to play starters through the end.
  12. Nobody should be surprised the feel good Jake browning story hit a wall, he made so many really lucky lame duck throws where his receivers bailed him out last night. I hope I can find a pub to watch the browns in Istanbul tonight, if so: browns 30 Houston 17 And ravens I won’t watch but 49ers 23 Ravens 17
  13. If we beat the Texans losing a playoff spot becomes pretty much impossible. Keenum doesn’t concern me nearly as much as Stroud, but he can still win games and if he was the browns starter after Watson went down I’d be more confident in him than DTR
  14. Another detail that wasn’t talked about much is the browns actually won a coin toss for once. Instead of choosing kick/receive, they chose the direction they wanted to defend. One side of the field was way worse than the other (in terms of the swirling wind) they accomplished two things 1) The bears didn’t attempt a 2nd quarter 50+ yard field goal due to the wind gusts towards the locker rooms - it would have been an extremely tough kick to make. 2) The browns were setup with favorable wind at their backs in the 4th for the game winning kick. Just think that’s a pretty cool and intelligent coaching detail, quite possibly the game was won because of that little coin flip decision.
  15. I think the Texans are the 2nd most injured team besides us, but I’d imagine they’ll have stroud back against us which is like a Justin fields except actually good. But yea our easy stretch isn’t looking so easy (aside from maybe the jets still) I believe our injury list will lighten up a little at least, Pocic, Bitonio, Thornhill, Walker will possibly be back. But our running game is seriously broken and Flacco throwing 45 times isn’t sustainable - that’s something they’ll need to figure out with the 3rd string OL they’re trotting out there
  16. Whoa, I was just saying maybe Dunn doesn’t have the same chemistry with those guys, combined with being on IR and not playing for awhile could be part of the reason too, good point. You said you would cut Dunn some slack and I agreed. Also it may have been a multi score victory, I just didn’t predict Flacco throwing a couple touchdowns to the wrong team 😁
  17. They don’t call holds against the browns ever, I’d be more fine with that if they didn’t call much less egregious holds against our offense repeatedly. Joey Flacco is really playing like he did in his prime ravens years…the tight windows, downfield throws, picks, 4th quarter insurgence were all common occurrences in his career. The exception being the 2012 postseason where he went 11-0 TD-INT ratio. I really thought we’d see the check down happy feet Joe, but that guy is back to his loose gunslinger ways. The pass to cooper is an all-time throw, doesn’t get any better than that but I’m sure the coaches were gasping as soon as he let it go.
  18. Jags blowing field goals and Lawrence dropping the ball untouched - jags shitting the bed against the ravens
  19. It changes a lot when both the guys next to you are also second and third stringers. Dunn is a solid backup, but when you have your main center and tackle out it’s tougher.
