    And playing like complete garbage...

He can run, that’s about it. But he really doesn’t have much to play for. Dude is already gonna make bank. I’m afraid with what they said about clowney, coaches might play favorites and give Garrett the Lebron treatment most of the time. Regardless, team looks unmotivated.

And Tomlin didn't even have to throw a challenge flag on the DW run for a first down. No need to when the refs huddle on your sideline....that was horseshit

Tomlin tried to trip a player and he’s a classless idiot. Just because he won some games it shouldn’t excuse him being a weasel. The commentators blow him every week and it’s pathetic frankly.

  3. Don’t really see the need to talk about Baker anymore, but he wasn’t as bad as some of you are saying. He had heart, and he put up with so many new schemes and was led by people like Freddie Kitchens, and played through a lot of injuries.                            I thought the Watson move was awful. Idk why we’re being run by Haslam and an analytics guy. Also, what kind of role model has more than 20 women accuse them of foul play during massages? What kind of a role model is that for our kids? Watson is a one trick pony and his days are over.

This team was 1-31 the 2 seasons before Baker.  It was winless the 1st 2 games he didn't start as a rookie and sporting a 10 or 14 point deficit in his first appearance vrs the Jets in week 3.  With the same teammates that were winless that year and losing that night - Baker led the team to victory.  They finished 7-8-1, which means they were 7-7 with the rookie and 0-1-1 without him 1 year after the 0-16 football some people sound like they really missed all of a sudden.

People seem like they're in a huge hurry to get Baker on that t-shirt full of failed QBs here.  The guy was our QB in just his 3rd year here where this team went 11-5 and won a playoff game.  That said, he got injured the next year and people want to make that the tell-all about how Baker was the whole time here. Is he elite?  No, but Watson is so he gets excused for having only 1 post season win with a bad organization?  Like you alluded to Baker has 1 post season win but he can't walk on water yet so giddyup and get his ass outta here because Jed Clampett is hunting for oil again...

Like the comedian Stephen Wright that named his puppy Stay just to mess with him during training.  Come here STAY!  That's what we're doing with the QB position this year even if Watson is elite.  He'll miss about half the season which means there will be the inevitable rust of 1.5 years of not playing any NFL games.  That means the easiest part of the schedule will already have been played with a pretty unforgiving schedule in front of him.

The next year is when our cap will face the challenges of what vets to keep around Watson's 230 million cap hit.  The challenges aren't just that but how will we problem solve any injuries to the vets that were prioritized to stay.  Have any of the QBs drafted in the Haslam era survived their length of 1st contract??  I ask that to remind people he may never be a patient enough guy to complete the investment ANY QB needs.  Changing FO staff, HCs and OCs the way he has done so frequently on young QBs means they train the QB fire the Coaches, deprogram previous training - give new training and rinse and repeat as often as they did it to Baker.  And guess who doesn't understand why he needs another QB all over again?

He had the heart, passion, and work ethic to win us a superbowl. I'd take a Trent Dilfer everyone loves over a premadonna who's in it for himself.

She has so much to consider, to be fair. It's so stupid that this could have been avoided.

You know, we were watching the Indians play last week - and Tom Hamilton mentioned that (best I can quote) "If you try to find a bad character on this Guardians team, well, good luck to ya, because the Dolans take good character very, very seriously...."

So here we are. The haslams just threw that all into the dumpster. Probably by now, they regret it. Watson lied to the browns...what a mess, ....they have paid so huge a price to be so desperate.

Almost August, and here we are....

All this now, and maybe Zombo said it best back on June 8th:

    ***********************************

Baker had so much heart. He was a dude you loved to root for. He made mistakes, but my god, he played his heart out and gave it his all. He had that fire and that passion. When Haslam is the leader, and he constantly second guesses his decisions, it creates uncertainty for everyone in the organization.

Trading Baker for nothing will be a regret. And as for Watson, it's hard to defend him. How can you build a community around someone who gets 60 massage girls and has them sign NDA's. Is that a role model for our children in Cleveland? A person the city can get behind and love?

I feel like Haslam might be the worst owner ever. Watson could potentially be suspended all season. This just ends up being a $200 million gamble to get an athletic premadonna. He wasn't our problem, but now he is. And way to go signing Josh Rosen. If Watson doesn't work out, Baker was still 10x the QB Rosen is.

Congratulations on getting the last bitch post of this epic bitchfest in before our Quarterback threw 5 TDs in three quarters and shut everyone the fuck up.

Fuck Joe Burrow, he has won one NFL game, we are 5-2 with Baker and he played the last part of the Colts game and the whole Steeler game with injuries that would have sat most QBs.

Go tear up the Raiders, Baker, then the women around here won't know what to do with themselves over the bye week.

    Well said, Z

As far as people who were saying what I thought about Baker. I still think he's our guy.

For those that haven't had rib injuries (I broke mine boxing last May) they hurt like an absolute bitch. It hurts to breathe....

What I don't get is how people are willing to bail on him after a few mediocre games. As long as we're winning, that's what I care about.

When Aaron Rodgers or Big Ben have bad games (even when they're healthy), everyone moves on. Let Baker play.

And lastly, it's important for Baker to play his game and find the open receivers. OBJ might've made him force the ball to him in the past. Now he's back to playing his game, and finding TE's and Higgins like he did in the past. I predict the Browns only getting better, but Gruden and the Raiders are no joke.

  7. Our team literally is at pace to make the playoffs, and you guys are trying to write off Baker when his ribs are messed up, we're missing lineman, and he plays one off game against a 4-0 team.... Look at the entire season, not just one game. We have one of the most deadly rushing attacks, so his stats won't be 5 TDs 500 yards every week. Rodgers and other QB's have off games, and most of you are forgetting, it's only his third season. Peyton Manning and Brett Favre weren't the killing gunslingers until later on. Let the kid get his chance this year, I still believe in him.

  8. I think it's important to recognize that certain people like to divide us as humans. We all love football, that's why we're here. It's an escape from all the bullshit that happens in life. All of the tragedy, sadness, and suffering in the world.

We're all humans, no matter what backgrounds we come from, and we all breathe the same and bleed the same.

Instead of focusing on what makes us different, we should focus on what brings us together.

  9. Baker is his own man. To me this isn't even news, it's something Mary Kay would shout out. Whether people are republican or democratic, we all like football. I could care less if players decide to kneel for the anthem or not. Now winning, that's something I consider important. And this is a new era, without Freddie Kitchens or the Famous Sandwich actor, Hue Jackson.

There are train wrecks and then there is "The Tiger King" 🤣

    Unbelievable ratings and reviews..

    Has anyone been watching?

Watched it all yesterday. My old boss' office was next to big cat rescues office in Tampa when I worked there two years. Can confirm I saw Carol there once a week at least during that time and she was always friendly and said hi when I ran into her. Crazy to think such a crazy story was unfolding right next door to me.

  11. We should realistically win at least 7 games. If we can't win more than five games, then Jimmy needs to figure out who reports to who and figure out the whole GM thing. Because his approach to the HC and GM reporting separately to him is toxic I believe, and it's never worked. I'm hoping Kevin is a great coach and we do well. Hopefully Baker got over his sophomore slump and he's ready to hit now.
