Again I have to ask a poster... What is "it"?

He's a leader, he loves Cleveland, he works hard, wants to be here, makes players like Mack Wilson better and pushes them, and can't be replaced in the draft.

The "It" factor is that he's a probowler when he's healthy and good.

I'm all for analytics, but we aren't winning any games with no safeties or linebackers next year.

I'm just hoping we don't continue to not resign veteran players and not replace them, or replace them with practice squad level players.

  2. Joe's a team leader with great work ethic, and a great guy.

Yeah, Dorsey fumbled it, but cmon bro, get it done and keep him. He's worth it.

We can't keep making pro bowl players and then give them away to other teams.

Most importantly, Joe LOVES Cleveland and wants to be here.

Sounds like a blast!  Have fun!

If you run into the Las Vegas Raiders brand new mascot named Ghoolie - tell him Leg Humpers is also looking for a mascot to promote the sale of their depressants to the black hole.  Stay away from belly rubs but if you catch him mounting Gruden's leg - you might want to get that on camera.  Then for good measure, tell him Flugel predicted it and get a picture of his reaction too...

I actually think Ghoolie would be a blast to drink with. I'll for sure hit him up. Hopefully he doesn't try to steal my girlfriend.

About the best I could do was downtown for around $800 for 2 nights including the flight for one person. You can take the bus or monorail from there to the Strip. Normally I could get the  Flamingo on the strip for two nights including air in May for $244, Golden Nugget downtown for $223.

Flamingo is the perfect location. We got the Rio for $733 for thursday friday and saturday.

My friend who took Aria for $10,000 two years ago got comped thursday friday and saturday for free. I got comped Sunday at bellagio so we got darn lucky.

It will depend whether or not he's in the NFL drug protocol, and subject to testing in the off season- like our old pal Puffy Gordon. I'd think domestic violence ≠ automatically put you in drug testing. I wouldn't worry too much about the weed. The open vodka bottle is problematic- and he should be thankful the cop didn't haul him down to the station and test for DUI- which would definitely have gotten Hunt in big trouble, if he's not already. Just an open container is an aggravating circumstance, and you can get a ticket for that even if you're sober as a judge.

You want to talk about lack of judgement- Kareem has to know one more screw up, and he's not going to be playing football again for a very long time- and probably not with the Browns.

Talk about second chances. Hunt is taking the Gordon route. Just get a damn uber at that point bro. All the rest of us do it and you make much more than most of us (except Ghoolie) do.

  6. While the dude is older than me, he's still only (32).

Again, Jimmy is hiring young inexperienced people to both GM and head coach and having them report to him separate. This is a toxic formula, and that Jimmy demands massive success right away it's just unrealistic. He'll get impatient and blow it up and we'll have to start over. I think he's too "proud" to do that, but what else is he to do if we can't make .500 in the next couple years.

Overall this is just pure chaos. I do not trust Jimmy and said that all back in the Pettine era.

The thing my mind keeps going back to is the footage of Bill and Tom sitting in Bill's office going over game film of their upcoming opponents Defense. I must have seen it at least three times last week.

In it Tom was pointing out... "if that CB does that, then we can..." Bill asking, "Do you mean...?" Tom: "Yes." Bill: "Oh... I see... that's good."

Apparently this was a weekly ritual lasting an hour or so... and McDaniels was nowhere in the room.

I'm not on board with a McDaniels hire, he just ain't our guy.

Screw it. Get us a better pick and most importantly, get Freddie FIRED

He's a train wreck of a coach and isn't going to get any better. Make Dorseys decision easy and lose today.

I know it'll suck to go out with a loss, but it's the best outcome for our long term future.

    Anyone with me on this?

You play to win the game

  9. David Njoku said he's "not sure" he'll be back if coach Freddie Kitchens returns next season.

This adds Njoku to a growing list of Browns players that have had fallouts with Kitchens. Njoku got into it with Kitchens in Week 14 after he dropped a pass on the opening drive that was picked off. He's been a healthy scratch since and could sit out the regular season finale. Njoku has another year and team option remaining on his rookie deal, but the Browns may look to shop him if Kitchens stays.

It did take Josh Allen, my favorite qb out of that draft, some time to develop. This year, he really does look like the real deal.

Happened to turn to a Bills fan when the Browns played them at home, at the game with Canton Mike, and asked him about Allen. He said he was a hero to fans, but sometimes, he threw a long ball and they'd lament his lack of accuracy, but he had improved this year.

Looking back, at the qb's out of that draft:

I LOVE that we drafted Baker Mayfield. And Thank God we didn't draft Darnold or Jackson (although the latter's incredible scrambling is working for them).

Then, there's ...oh wait. Did I mention that Josh Allen, the Bill's qb ...is doing pretty great - they've won 9 games, the last two being ...

they beat Denver 20-3, and beat Dallas today, 26-15. They will have a tough time - they play the ratbuzzards next, then the steelers, then the patriots....Josh Allen looks like the real deal.

THEN... there's Josh Rosen, who I absolutely had NO USE FOR at all. A lot of guys bashed Allen as garbage, and raised Josh Rosen as their CHOSEN. "best pocket passer - next great NFL qb" yada yada bullhockey.

Truth is, the Cardinals had had quite enough with Rosen's serious weaknesses, that didn't have to do with "pocket passer".

I made it no secret way too often, that Rosen was not the qb that was going to be a star, because of the all too often WRONGO idea that "best pocket passer" meant Josh Allen was crap.

     I picked Josh Allen.

So, about Josh "hosin" Rosen. No leadership, didn't really love the game, all handed to him, a rich self-absorbed PUNK.

The Cardinals dumped his worthless arse, trading him to the dolphins, right after selecting Kyler Murray, for a second round pick. and who is now starting for Miami? The old guy - Ryan Fitzpatrick. Who was drafted in the seventh round. So, to those who were upset and insisted that Rosen being a "Tom Brady" ...and Josh Allen being "garbage". Guess who got it right. Rosen displays profound suckage to this very day.

Why, want to know who the draftek mock draft has ...for Miami's pick in 2020?

    https://www.drafttek.com/2020-NFL-Mock-Draft/2020-NFL-Mock-Draft-Round-1.asp

    Justin Herbert
    Oregon
    QB
They apparently have seen enough of punk Rosen as well.
Say, Did I mention that Josh Allen has the Bills looking good, with nine games won already?
    Oh, ok.

        Furthermore, an interesting read:

    https://www.azcentral.com/story/sports/nfl/cardinals/2019/11/21/arizona-cardinals-comparing-kyler-murray-josh-rosen/40652003/

"The eye test will tell you Murray is having a superior season than Rosen did last year. Just how much better?

Murray has 393 passing attempts this season through 11 games. Rosen had 393 passing attempts all last season, in 14 games and 13 starts."

"So, how much better has Murray been?

    • He has completed 37 more passes than Rosen did (254 to 217).
    • Naturally, his completion percentage is better (64.6 to 55.2).
    • He has 425 more passing yards (2,703 to 2,278).
    • He has more touchdown passes (14 to 11).
    • He has far fewer interceptions (5 to Rosen's 14).
    • He has a much higher yards per attempt (6.9 to 5.8).
    • His passer rating is more than 24 points higher (91.2 to 66.7).

That doesn't even factor in the running ability. Rosen had 138 rushing yards. Murray has 418 so far and has scored three touchdowns on the ground."

I believe I said Rosen was overrated from day one, and that people I knew who had friends that were professors even said the kid was entitled and rude. Then after all of the rumors that even his teammates said he was an asshole, and his statement about possibly not playing football.

He's been handed everything his whole life, even more so than Johnny Football, I knew he wouldn't succeed at this level.

D'arnold doesn't have the heart. I was unsure about Lamar at first, but my god he looks amazing this year. Can he keep it up? Time will tell. Hopefully he isn't RG3 2.0

    • Thanks 1
  11. Screw Baltimore.

I will say, Lamar is playing amazing. I don't think it's fair to knock him just because Baltimore sucks in general.

The Rams suck this year, they aren't the team they used to be.

    We beat Baltimore, they're overrated.

However, I've seen San Francisco in person. They AREN'T overrated, and they will shut down Baltimore. bank on it.
