This is a big blow, and I for one could use a little optimism, so here it goes. Kevin is extremely talented at devising gameplans IMO. I anticipate Jets doing everything in their power to take away Njoku, so it's going to be an Elijah Moore game. I've been unimpressed with him this year, that's no secret. A few bad drops, hardly any broken tackles, and not as much wiggle as I thought he had. Tonight is a new night. Elijah Moore will take it to the house on a screen and will score another touchdown on a trick play of sorts. We're going to get creative and it's going to work. Moore will have over 100 yards and 2 TD's. Oh, and Njoku will still get his, but the other surprise? The running game. I think our run game comes alive and the screen game pops and that's how we make up for the Cooper injury. And don't forget the Goodwin TD bomb, that's definitely happening. We got this.

😁 I'll be better than ever. So excited for this opportunity! Flew to Minnesota from Florida this week to spend time with the family. Gonna be a great night (I hope!). Don't wanna get too greedy, but if we get into the playoffs, I'd love to play at Jacksonville. I'll be at that game in a skinny second. See you guys soon. Go Brownies!

I'm more concerned with their RB, Breece. He can ball and we haven't gone up against a good RB in a while. Jets are going to do EVERYTHING in their power to run the ball and hit on quick throws to convert 3rd and manageable. We must tackle well and play a clean special teams game. Even if we miss a kick, we can't have a muffed punt, blocked punt, kickoff return, fumble on a kickoff...that type of stuff. We win turnover battle (not exactly our specialty) and we win the game, possibly by 10+. I'm predicting a VERY close game with us pulling away late in 4th. I don't know why, but I just see us struggling out the gate. The short week, the tired defense, our turnover issues, and our kicker injury might tempt us to go for it when we normally wouldn't. Defense keeps it close, but offense struggles. Jets defend the pass expertly and we can't run it at all. Close, ugly game with us getting it done late, largely due to a defensive touchdown scored by JOK. Cannot wait. Brownies - 26 Jets - 17

This is the play I cursed Hudson on, I think. It was the second or third time Hudson mistimed his jab and essentially whiffed. So frustrating, but like Flugel said, he's the backup and that stuff happens. Just really stinks. Hopefully we don't need him! Never would I imagined a win to get in scenario. A home game...at night...and that place better be ROCKING.

Oh I do, but he was rough. Like, really rough. If you get a chance, watch that play DTR got folded. It was the second time I saw where Hudson totally mistimed his jab and hit air. Backups are going to struggle but yeeesh. It's odd to see because Hudson is an elite athlete. He moves SO well and is extremely agile, but his timing on anything out in space is so lacking. But, like you said, he's a backup for a reason. If he could consistently pass and run block, he'd be a starter. At least he's healthy!

That's a fair point. Man, that kickoff return is so infuriating because once again our defense totally dismantles the opposition, but turnovers or special teams gaffes keep it closer than it should be. Still, you can't help but be impressed at the resiliency of this team. Up 22-7 on the road is a beautiful thing! Flags and all. Gonna be an interesting second half. You just get the feeling Houston ain't gonna roll over and this game will be close at the end. Texans were down 13 last week, so this is nothing new. I'd love to see a defensive touchdown to shut the door, and I think we'll get it.
