You're absolutely right. Our margin of error starting a 4th string QB on the road was essentially razor thin, and that turnover broke the dam. You guys might know already know, but we're set to have a REAL weather dumpster fire Sunday. The kind of game that irritates a large portion of fans because we don't have a dome. The "12-6" type games where you basically can't pass the ball. Do you start a faster QB so he can run a few times since you can't pass? I don't know. I absolutely detest poor weather games...feels like they rob the fans of what football is supposed to be. We shall see, weather can change and often does. I just hope we figure out how to win so the season doesn't feel over. Lots of questions about our personnel upcoming. Our high-prices interior OL is NOT playing up to their price tags. I'm not happy with Ford, at all, but he had NOWHERE to go. We still can't get the ball to Njoku. Our CB depth got roasted. We need people to make big plays, and it's not happening. Myles is hurt, not his fault. He's fighting, but it's apparent he's not ok.

I feel pretty awful for Flacco. He made one just awful decision and it effectively ended the game. Obviously I'm playing hindsight games here, but down 1 with about 6.5 minutes to go, I would have really like the clock to get moving on a run. Even a Hunt run for 2-3 yards, just something to get the clock rolling. Regardless, I can't envision a scenario where Flacco doesn't start. We were smoother in the passing game than I've seen in a while. Just wish we had a better RB and WR, but hopefully we'll be ok. Let's ride.

I was saying exactly the same thing to my buddy. Just can't continue to put our beleaguered offense in the hole. Not after they actually put 7 on the board right away. Need to force some turnovers on defense and on offensive end need a big play. Can anyone even remember our last big passing play down the field or maybe even running it? Having long, sustained scoring drives is freaking hard.
