This match up against the Steelers is going to be a very important game. We need to pull out all the trick plays, and be focused on blocking and putting the heat on Ben Roethlisberger. Make this be his last game of his career. I want to see this team prove to the NFL elite that the Browns can be what this team once was in a different time. Let's give this Steelers a beat down they will never forget. Oh, and yes, we will be letting all the DAWGS out for this one.

Im happy the Browns won the game, and yes, they did make the playoffs. BUT, this game was very close to being tied, and then possibly a loss. But that didn't happen, so lets focus on the biggest game in 18 yrs when the Browns played the Steelers in the last playoff meeting. Now that was a good close game. I hope the Browns pull out every trick play, every running play they got to win this game.

This is a "no win" situation for us....
BrownsfaninPa replied to lodilobo's topic in THE BROWNS BOARD
That's all I want is a win to get in. Who cares if the other team is sitting players, we would too if we were in 1st place. If we secure a playoff spot, its a hole new ballgame. The playoffs are a brand new season and the winner moves on, the loser goes home and rest up for next season. -
Mason Rudolph named starting QB on Sunday
BrownsfaninPa replied to Canton Dawg's topic in THE BROWNS BOARD
The Steelers will keep Ben Roethlisberger on the sidelines for the last game against the Browns. Rudolph will be getting the start and hopefully it wont be like the last time Rudolph played against the Browns. Browns must win this game to keep a playoff spot vacant for them. -
I have a collection of football cards of Kevin Greene, from his early playing days with the RAMS, up to when he played for the Panthers. Its a shame he dies so young. Looks like I will have to place a small label of his last football card of him, and post Died 2020.

This was truly unexpected, but its for real, the Bengals have put the hated Steelers in a must win situation. They have the Colts to face, and the COLTS are looking to put the Steelers in a loser column. And then its us against the Steelers, here at home. Let the Dawgs out, call out the Nat'l Guard, be ready for a nasty, fight to the end game. GO BROWNS !!

As Browns fans have suffered with losing seasons year after year, since their return in 1999, this historic team has taken a lot of negative remarks, put downs, jokes, and just taunting . Finally, a much deserved team has a winning record to be proud of. Football commentators are all on the Browns winning wagon and are given this team high reguards to making it in the playoffs. But that's when your coaching and players have to put all they have in making that 1st playoff win, and then on to your next game. Im enjoying the achievements this team has made this year, and the beginning of a new chapter in Browns history.

Well C. Wentz isn't done in philly, the EAGLES owe him way too much money, so they are stuck with him all next year weather he plays or stands on the sidelines. The Lions might be done with M. Stafford but who know's what will happen. And its basicly the same with all QB's mentioned. Are the big names worth keeping as starters?

Steelers Lose - Playoff Implications
BrownsfaninPa replied to onkyoreceiver's topic in THE BROWNS BOARD
Im so glad to see the Steelers lose finally. And their up coming games are very much possible losses to Indy, and Buffalo. And that would give us a chance to possibly win the divison if we continue to win and we of course beat them in the last game of the season. -
That was a dirty game. Seemed like the Browns were getting little BS calls, and the Titans were not called for much at all.

What to make of a win or loss this weekend.
BrownsfaninPa replied to jiggins7919's topic in THE BROWNS BOARD
Any loss wil put this team in a tougher spot to win each remaining games. A win will give some ease to game plan for the next game.. Our schedule is favorable on our side. -
If the Steelers should continue there win streak and leads up to the final game of the season, then its up to the Browns to stop them from getting their first 16-0 season record & team record. Would'nt that be a nice way to finish the season. Beating the rivalry team of all time and then stopping them from going undefeated would be a Merry Christmas for all Browns fans.

If we get the win against the Titans we move up one spot and tie with Buffalo for the 3rd playoff spot. If the Bills lose, we move up to 3rd place all by ourselves. If we lose, we could fall back as far as 7th spot.

I'm sure BIG JIM is well aware of the Browns running back attack, and is wishing the team well. He may not be available publicly, but his thoughts can be sent to the front office for his support to this team.

Yes this is what is scheduled on CBS here in Philadelphia, 1:00 BROWNS-TITANS, 4:00 PACKERS - EAGLES. FOX 1:00 SAINTS - FALCONS.

This will be a very interesting match up. The Raiders not doing all that well, and the Browns are moving along steady. Another win will move us up on the win column and make news as a AFC playoff contender.

Coincidence Baker improved after OBJ left the game?
BrownsfaninPa replied to Icecube's topic in THE BROWNS BOARD
There is no question that having OBJ out will effect the offense game plan. Weather he was making plays or not, he has a presence on the field that concerns the defense on the field. Now that he is out, the rest of our WR, & TE 's will have to come up big if Baker is going to spread the ball to an open receiver. -
Well, a win is a win, but how we win is the major factor. That game was just a total nail-biter. Down early from the very beginning, and it took awhile to catch up and was able to take the lead , but the Bengals came right back and made it a dawg and cat brawl. We have the lead with only minutes left and we were able to secure a hard fought game win against a divisional rival and a state rival.

As popular as MNF has been since its first game, I feel that the first MNF game every year should be the Browns - Jets in honor of its tradition.

It's that classic match up once again of the right to say we are the better team than our cross state rivals. Between the Browns and the Bengals it's always a toss up on who will get a victory when these teams meet. I have always like this state and divisional rival. Cleveland from the north, and Cincinnati from the south. Dawgs vs Cats. Good old classic football. Time for a win Browns.

From time to time, my mind thinks up some odd and different topics. I was just thinking about how the Browns could have their very own DAWG POUND truck. The Dawg Catcher, gathering up fans for recruitment into the Dawg Pound. My idea comes from the customized yellow truck that the Steelers used to show off near the end zone back in the 80's or early 90's. I think they used to call it the terrible truck. But actually, its a full size customized truck that was called the BEER TRUCK, by Tom Daniels. It was made into a Monogram model kit. Just google it, it will come up. It was a yellow flatbed truck with a barrell of beer in the back with chains and wood posts around the flat bed. My idea is similar to that, but the back of my truck would be steel bars and a round up of fans ready to be initiated into the DAWG POUND. My idea is similar to Tom Daniels truck called Dragon Wagon. I have a few details of my own to make it related to the DAWG POUND.

Well another high hoped win gone down the drain. Why is it that this Browns team always has terrible luck when playing the Steelers? Its just amazing how many times this team has lost over and over to the Steelers and it just never fails. Are we cursed ?

OBJ sent home / Colts shut down facility ?
BrownsfaninPa replied to Bob806's topic in THE BROWNS BOARD
Yes, the basic flu issues can be dealt with, but if your showing signs with this crappy virus, then that's when things get questionable. Glad to here all is well, and we can proceed as scheduled.
